The season 1 marathon has started.

I don't know why. Alden was horrible.

I like seeing that Stephen is working constantly. I think that he was talented actor who was underrated on the soaps because he did not have the traditional "handsome" look. I had no idea that he has a son who also acts. He is a proud father. Good for him. His praise of JFP does make me roll my eyes, but whatever.

I only watch sporadically, especially since Chris Meloni left. I definitely miss Elliot, but I am a huge Chris Meloni fan from his days on Oz. I think that Amaro is okay and a good partner for Olivia, but Kelli Giddish is bland and lacks any energy, much like she was on AMC. I still don't see why NBC thinks she is anything special, but it keeps moving her from show to show. I think she must be sleeping with one of its executives. I have no problem with Cassidy. He is not too smart or demanding which makes him the perfect man for Olivia. I think a woman with Olivia's myriad of problems and dramas would be difficult for most men to deal with. I am not looking forward to Olivia confronting her attacker. It is all so over the top. And I am tired of all her dramas also. I will miss Cragen. I don't buy the reasoning. It is more likely budget cutting combined with trying to get younger.

I am watching Batman Begins for the nth time and just realized that the kid who sees Batman on the fire escape is Jack Gleeson who looks about eight years old in that scene. He was so cute.

LOL! AMC is just poking itself in the eye with all these miserly decisions. Think of all the projects that are going elsewhere because producers want nothing to do with AMC. It such a coincidence that just a couple days somewhere online I was reading a financial blurb where two stockbrokers were debating whether investing AMC was a good move. The network has such a bad rep despite having the no. 1 scripted tv show.

I totally believe Darabont's claims. He is not the first creator/producer to be cheated by the networks. Plus, AMC is run by cheap dumbasses and scumbags. AMC has been in financial trouble for the last two or three years and it was made worse when it tried to take on the Dish Network. No doubt the settlement with Darabont will take yet another financial chunk out of AMC.

I thought the interview was okay. I usually like most of major plots that the story does, but I don't think that they made the right decision dragging out the Governor's story. Really his story was done last season, the attack on the prison should have been last season's finale. I also don't like the character study episodes that telegraph who is going to die next. With three more regulars, we should have at least one more death by the end of this season. I think that we will see Morgan again. I would prefer that he joins the group. They can get rid of Bob.
