I am fine with Pete quickly moving on. They cannot keep every character passing through. Some of have got to be Red Shirts or we will lose even more of the main cast even season. I don't think that Pete was any more pure and innocent than anyone in Rick's group. Not stealing or killing people for their supplies is basic human decency that almost everyone in Rick's group shares, excluding Bob who seems capable of almost anything for a drink. Unfortunately, it was Pete's bad luck to fall in with Martinez, even without Phillip's arrival that was never going to end well.

I just saw Gina Gallego, one of the actresses who played Santana on Santa Barbara on Grimm. They used make up to make her look much older.

Before the mid-season finale on Sunday, AMC is having a season 4 marathon starting at 2 p.m.

You should start from the beginning of this season because if you start on Sunday, the mid-season finale, you will have missed a lot and be confused, especially if Carol is your favorite.

Yep, the bald guy Paul on TD was horrible. They need to bring back Yvette Nicole Brown.

While I liked both of the Phillip focused episodes, I think they were a mistake. They stopped the show's momentum and I suspect caused some viewers to tune out. If they felt compelled to focus on Phillip, they should have done one episode or integrate his scenes with the prison story. However, I am very pleased that Phillip was not given a redemption story as some hoped or dreaded. So far TWD has avoided the soap trope of redeeming the villain so his victims forgive and embrace him. I suppose Merle had a mini-redemption arc, but he died rejected so that worked. In retrospect, the dragging out Phillip's story has been a huge mistake. Phillip and his group should have overrun the prison at the end of last season and Maggie should have killed him in melee. The survivors of our group should have fled in different directions before reuniting.

AMC needs to put in some calls to their best TD guests like Yvette Nicole Brown and the Scott guy. Most of the guests this season have not been great.

Oh no, I hope that this does not mean that Maggie dies. Probably the surprise cast member is the dead one.
