What a great question about Phillip! My favorite Oz characters were Chris, Toby, Adebisi, Said, Miguel, and Sister Pete.

Well, Kirk will be in the next episode also. He does have a nice ass, whole body actually. I loved Miguel. Oz was such a great show. I am always amazed by how few people watched it.

How stupid is this Paul guy? He actually thinks that Phillip wants to get along with Rick? This Paul guy is a dumb [!@#$%^&*]. He has got to be joking. Exactly. I have no idea why Martinez pulled Phillip out of the pit. He should have killed him immediately.

I don't like this Paul guy's analysis. Armisten needs to talk more.

The actor playing Martinez is good looking. Armisten and I are on the same wave length. We will live longer in a Zombie Apocalypse because we do not trust the evil crazy people. LOL!

Damn, what a way to end the episode. He won't shoot Michonne down like that though. He will want her to know it is him and suffer. Damn, the preview looked good. I cannot wait for next week.

I did not realize that Mitch and Peter were brothers. Why didn't he stab Pete in the head? Or did he, I did not notice? Wow, this episode flew by. I cannot believe that we only have 10 more minutes. Yep, Phillip is going for the prison. WTF. Look what Phillip did to Pete.

The walkers in the mud are disgusting. OMG, poor Peter, I knew he was dead. MItch will survive because he is just like Phillip.

I cannot believe they did not consider the possibility that Martinez was murdered. Well, that is Pete dead. Who killed them and so quietly?

Why were they keeping a pit of walkers anyway? Who thought that was a good idea?

Phillip's control is slipping. He cannot stand being told what to do or not being in control. I knew it. Phillip is back. Ah, Martinez, you should have known better. What a horrible way to die!

Oh, Martinez don't fall for his [!@#$%^&*]. He will kill your ass in a heartbeat.

That freaked me out. They were saving the heads like Phillip did. I really don't think that this is the redemption of Phillip. I bet that the real Phillip comes out by the end of the episode.

Wait, Martinez has not told them how dangerous Phillip is?

Arm wrestling? Good grief is there anything that they won't make into a reality show? Wow, that Tammie L. fan did a great job making herself into scary ass zombie.

I am ambivalent about tonight's episode, but I am watching. OMG, it is Miguel from OZ, played by the adorable and talented Kirk Acevado.

Great insights, Carl. While I think that while the family trusted scruffy odd looking Phillip too quickly, it was understandable that they grew to depend on him. And once the father was dead, they needed Phillip even more. After all, how could they stay in that town infested with walkers with Megan to care for. At some point that van was going to run out of food. Insisting that Phillip take them with him was their only move. I am alright with this episode being devoted to Phillip's journey although I was totally confused at the beginning. I agree that the episode improved as he started to integrate with the family. I loved the scene in the nursing home. Phillip starts off confident and cleverly negotiating the walkers and grabbing the cart of full of oxygen, only for him to become frightened as they overwhelm him yet he is able to crab a couple canisters as he escape. However, I am not happy that we are getting another episode devoted to Phillip and Martinez. I would have preferred that the show simultaneously followed both groups over the last two over three episodes, culminating with their clash at the prison.

I think one episode is "useful," two are one way too many. I suspect they are showing that he is what he is no matter the journey. I think he ends up the same place that he started.

I don't think that they are redeeming Phillip as much as showing us his journey to his next encounter with Rick's group. Phillip is not going to magically change. He is what he is. I did not love it, but I liked the episode. I thought there was tension as I kept waiting to see if Phillip would kill them. I agree that they are building the suspense to Daryl finding out Carol. I don't mind, but I don't expect as much as drama from the fall out as some others do.

Chris was fine. He is a good actor because I had no clue anything was wrong. I am sorry to hear that he lost his father, very sad.

I cannot imagine any circumstance under which Rick and his group would join forces with Phillip, but if it happens, I am rolling my eyes at the contrivance. Hell, even Merle knew that he had to take his ass and go.
