  1. Yeah, Maggie got kill of the week. Well deserved!
  2. Yeah that blood boot play by Lizzie was weird. That girl is thisclose to be a sociopath. Good point. We were told that the length of time to turn varied from a few minutes to hours. Now everyone is turning in seconds.
  3. I was not surprised about Maggie's reaction. I am sure that she thought about if it was Glenn or her father who were sick and Carol had killed them. Yep, Maggie was super badass tonight. She is took out that that walker and saved her father.
  4. Great TD episode so far. Bwah, the medical plan in the zombie apocalypse just got worse. Hilarious.
  5. I am glad that Glenn survived. LOL! Chris correcting his errors about antibiotics being able to treat the virus and that Rick killing Shane and Carl killing walker Shane. I love him commenting on the f' words that he got on Twitter.
  6. Damn, the Governor is back! He needs to be killed and killed hard! Hershel, alive so far! Seriously, this has been one of the most nail biting episodes ever. No wonder it takes me forever to get to sleep after TWD. It feels like a cop out having Rick not telling Daryl about Carol tonight.
  7. LOL! Hershel agrees that he is one tough SOB. Oh no, he is going out with Michonne. Please let him make it out of this episode alive.
  8. Oh Hershel, talk about a situation that tests one's faith. Yeah, he was not bitten. What a relief.
  9. Now Rick has to tell Daryl about Carol. I wonder if Hershel got bit?
  10. I am afraid to let down my guard in case a walker pops up and kills Hershel or someone else. Is that Daryl and the others? Thank goodness.
  11. Damn, Rick and Carl are the best killing father and son team around.
  12. Well, the influenza is very realistic given the break down in sanitation and overall public health. Gawd, I am terrified for Hershel. Where the hell are Daryl and the others?
  13. OMG, OMG, OMG. My stomach is in my throat.
  14. It is horrifying. I love it though. These commercials are killing me.
  15. Oh no, oh no. This is insane! Maggie, please come to the rescue.
  16. Come on, Hershel close the cell! Oh no! I hope that Glenn is somewhere around.
  17. Hershel needs to take the IVs and all the medicines out of Caleb's cell and lock him in. Oh no, Hershel has to do it himself.
  18. Poor Maggie. So many walkers! Those fences are going to give way soon. What is Rick going to tell Maggie? Rick telling the truth. I like that. Why doesn't this doctor lie down? He should know better.
  19. Here we go! There are still dogs alive! I am surprised given how they eat animals. I fear for Hershel. They have got to start locking those cells.
  20. I have always been of the opinion that the person that you were before the Zombie-Apocalypse influences the person that you are after. This false idea that people have to do the worse like Shane and now Carol is contradicted by everything that this show is based on. Re-watching the series from the beginning it is clear that it is basic decency and humanity of Rick, Daryl, Hershel, Glenn, Maggie, Lori, T-Dogg, Dale, etc. that helped the group survive. Time after time, they sacrificed their own safety for each other and even for people they did not know when they could. Yes, the Walking Dead are the human beings, but their survival means that they must depend on each other. While I remain unsure that Rick should have made the decision to banish Carol, I have no doubt that once they found out the truth that the survivors would have turned their backs on her like they did with Shane. How could anyone ever trust her again?
  21. Again, if Carol was so sure that she was doing nothing wrong, why did she not tell others on the council what she was going to do and get their consent? Why did she not confess when Tyreese was losing his mind and beating up Rick? Surely "did what she had to" kind of person like Carol could defend herself to the rest of the survivors like she did with Rick. RME. There is no defense for Carol. Karen and David are invisible people who the audience did not know and do not care about which is exactly why they were chosen as her victims. If Carol had killed Glenn or Daryl, some of he people defending her on the various boards would have been singing a different tune. They would be calling for her head. TWD continues to get high ratings, 6.8 in key 18 to 49 demo: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/11/04/the-walking-dead-draws-13-3-million-total-viewers-up-from-last-week/21344
  22. One thing I give Rick credit for is making the painful decision to banish Carol relatively quickly. He dithered far too long with Shane who he should have let die when he was at that depot with Randall. I think Rick took Carol on the run to figure out what to do about her crimes and that he was testing to see if there was how humanity was left in her, but her every response and comment showed him not much.
  23. I was up late last night thinking about this also. It really a hard one for me. I have seen the arguments on various boards trying to compare what various actions that happened in the past with Rick to what Carol did. It is a false equivalency, of course. Carol murdered two helpless sick people. They were isolated and locked in the cells. One or both of them might have even survived. If Carol thinks that she did nothing wrong, why didn't she own up to it and tell everyone? In fact, why hasn't she made the case to the council that everyone who is sick should be killed? Because she knows what she did was wrong and everyone would turn on her if she admitted what she had done and argued that others should be killed. I think that Rick is right about Carol being dangerous to the others in the same way that Shane was dangerous. l don't even think that most of the survivors would be split about her actions. I mean, who would be willing to go out on a run with her? Or to be alone with her? Or leave their family alone with her? I could see Maggie killing Carol rather than entrusting her with Glenn's well-being. Yet, I am not convinced that banishing Carol was Rick's decision alone to make. It seems to me that the council should voted.
  24. I agree. I like the unpredictably of all these characters. I did not see Rick banishing Carol coming. I did not see Bob desperately protecting the booze. I think that Tyreese is coming back to himself, but he is still explosive.
