GH: March 2024 Spoilers
Unless "Jason's next move" is going to his local Macy's and picking out a new wardrobe that isn't all black and all leather, I'm not all that interested, lol.

Amen and hallelujah to that, lol! I agree! (Hell, even KNOTS LANDING couldn't remain set in the same cul-de-sac after awhile.) I'm also vetoing any titles that sound pun-tastic and downright stereotypical, like "Keeping Up with the Joneses." Save that [!@#$%^&*] for those two-cent church plays on Bounce, lol.

I agree. The one-family structure worked for the 15-minute soaps, because they didn't have the luxury of time to incorporate more than a handful of characters. Once they expanded beyond those 15 minutes, however, the soaps needed more families out of necessity. At the same time, I think a mistake that many modern-era soaps have made is throwing too many characters at their audience before they have had the chance to learn about them. Even if TG ends up being an hour-long soap, I hope they learn from the mistakes made by PASSIONS, SaBa, SuBe and others and really use that hour in the beginning to concentrate on a select number of characters before broadening the canvas to include others.

Nah, there's much too much scorched earth there to make another Scott/Laura pairing palatable to the audience. Especially after we learned about Scotty's role in the Theresa Carter madness. Once upon a time, I hit upon the notion of Laura hooking up with Luke's old chum, Robert Scorpio. It would have been one of those tales where the more the two fought their attraction, the more that attraction would have grown. (Similarly, I wanted the show at least to chemistry-test Kin Shriner and Emma Samms, because something about pairing Scott with Holly seemed very intriguing to me.) More recently, I thought it would've been interesting to see Laura actually finding love again with a Cassadine - Victor, to be exact. But that would have been contingent upon 1) Charles Shaughnessy sticking around and 2) Victor not becoming, y'know, evil and stuff? Nowadays, though, I just would like to see Laura paired with someone who's stable (so she can have the family and roots that she's always craved) and can make her laugh and support her whenever she encounters yet another crisis among her family, but someone who isn't dull the way Kevin tends to be whenever he isn't with Lucy. Someone like...well, remember the guy who played Almanzo Wilder on "Little House on the Prairie"? His name's escaping me at the moment, and I'm not saying I'd want him specifically, but that's the kind who I'm talking about. (I also thought she'd have made a good on-screen partner with Billy Moses, but that would've meant pairing Jeff and Laura and I just don't wanna go there under any circumstances, lol). But, in the end, I'm still the guy who wanted to bring on Justin Deas as Tracy's new love interest, so take everything I've just said with several grains of salt, lol. It's been my experience as a lifelong soaps fan that a character who is created specifically for a particular actor hardly ever works once that character has been recast. CW should be commended for giving her all to Nina, but truth be told, Nina bears too much of Michelle Stafford's imprint to work as a viable, long-term, "actor-proof" character - and I say that as one who generally doesn't care for Stafford.

ALL: Worst TWISTS
I agree. They wrote Ross into a corner when they had him rape Natalie; and even though I think they kept him on for a few years afterward, you knew there was no way the writers would be allowed to write him again as anything other than a supporting, "talk-to" character in other people's stories. I mean, there's a good reason why, after he left, they barely, if ever, mentioned him again.

I agree. IMO, Jason needed someone who, for lack of a better word, was purer than Carly, because, even on the off-chance that he were to retrieve his lost memories, Jason still would have an edge about him. He wouldn't just snap back into being "Jason Quartermaine" like nothing had happened. (At least, that's my interpretation, YMMV, lol). Similarly, I think Sonny would have worked best with Lily - y'know, before she "blowed up real good," lol? - but theirs would have been a constant struggle over Sonny's being with "the organization" versus Lily's desire to protect him, herself and their growing family. And as for Brenda...? Well, I definitely think she should have been with someone like Jax, but not necessarily Jax, just b/c - if I'm being frank - I didn't like Ingo from day damn one, lol. Ingo was entirely too blonde and "pretty" for Brenda/Vanessa. She needed someone with darker, more brooding features - a real Rhett Butler-type, who would have been older, and played back in the halcyon days of the '70's and '80's by someone like Michael Woods or Lee Godart.

One thing I wish Korte and Mulcahey would correct is Laura being the mayor of PC. That's...never sounded right to me for some reason. Especially when I think she'd be more useful running a women's center with Liz or working as some sort of youth/women's counselor at the hospital (or both).

I don't! I watched him yesterday. Even the under-five who played his physical therapist gave more to his scene than DT did. I literally screamed at my desktop screen: "You're paralyzed, n*ggro, not dead!" I'd set mine to "All I Need," since that was the only time I tolerated Jack Wagner even a little.

GH: March 2024 Spoilers
If I were Ava, I would pretend to help Nina gain access to Sonny; then, after Sonny inevitably rages at Nina (with Ava present) and throws her out, I would pretend to Sonny not to know what Nina was talking about and warn him to protect himself from his wife, who is clearly becoming unglued.
