  1. LOL!! Then she should get a job to help her pay for her culinary training. Better yet, she should've kept going with modeling until she at least had saved enough to pay for school and other expenses. You're right, Sasha sucks at adulting, lol. Apparently, the only deception going on was in the girl's finances.
  2. I'm sure I've heard of at least one model who gave up the runway and magazine covers to pursue their dream of being a chef. But I think the issue here, at least for me, is that Sasha is turning her back on her modeling career to cook for this wealthy family rather than hone her craft first at culinary school or as an apprentice to some famous chef (who could be a spoiler for her and Cody, he mutters under his breath, lol). It's like, have we missed a few steps here, lol? I've said it before, I'll say it again: the first time Tracy gives Sasha the business for [!@#$%^&*] up a dish, she's done. Not an easy task, if you ask me. Rena and Wally shared amazing chemistry. It's almost like trying to find a new love interest for Laura.
  3. I see where you’re coming from, but I also see the danger in doing that with a character like Lois. Remember when Lesli Kay’s Lois was paired briefly with Alcazar? You couldn’t have gotten more “diametrically opposed” than Lois and Alcazar; yet, to me, it seemed OOC for the otherwise streetwise Lois to have anything at all to do with him.
  4. Ah, okay. I wasn't sure if you were referring to something else, lol. And yes, I would have to agree. As hard as it's been to let go of AMC and OLTL, I really believe GH/FV needs to declare a moratorium on that stuff. That's what I'm saying. I know it all begins with names on a paper, but even when I put their names together.... I'm sorry, but I just don't see it. Now what I CAN see is Lois falling for someone she remembers from the old neighborhood, who now lives and works in PC, and is just a regular, salt-of-the-earth kind of guy. A real Thomas Calabro type.
  5. Why would the audience stone them?
  6. I can't even see how or where or why pairing Lois and Martin would make sense, tbh. There's "opposites attract," and then there's "random as heck." (Sorry, John, but I gotta call 'em like I see 'em on this one.) If you really want to take the time to give Martin, a recurring character, a new love interest, then give him Diane. At the very least, the Diane/Robert relationship might come to a merciful end, lol.
  7. I want the same for Tracy - except, I want a man for her who ISN'T at death's door. Poor Brenda, always getting left out in the rain. And, you know, maybe I'm crazy, but I believe that a part of her loved Sonny for wanting to do the "right thing" for the sake of his and Lily's kid, even if it meant losing him.
  8. Plus, working for the Quartermaines isn't like working for the Waltons. They're a mercurial bunch, to say the least; and Tracy in particular would reduce poor Sasha to a puddle of tears before the end of her first shift. I miss Reginald Jennings, lol. Perhaps, the show is setting up some big "Who Shot Sonny?" storyline? At least, that's where I'd go with it - and if not there, then maybe have him suffer a stroke or heart attack or some such event. Then, I'd have Brenda return for a short spell and have her, Carly and probably Ava clash repeatedly over how best to care for the recuperating Sonny, lol.
  9. I know Linda "I Don't Wake Up for Less Than $10K a Day!" Evangelista wouldn't do it, lol! Why bother dropping the bombshell on Zoom? They could just text each other, lol!
  10. See, that's why I stay as far away from social media as possible these days. Because that makes absolutely no sense. None.
  11. I agree. BUT... I don't blame anyone who feels differently.
  12. OMG, I can't believe I'm just now realizing that Alex and Xander have the same damn name, lol.
  13. LOL!! I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying that Ashley suddenly has DID - and for reasons that still aren't entirely clear to me. Anything to keep her from buying another cheap-looking wig!
  14. And we haven't even found out who killed Austin yet, lol!!
  15. Don't get me wrong, I like Maura West and Finola Hughes, but...trying to lump them with JE, Beverlee McKinsey, Elizabeth Hubbard, Susan Flannery, Erika Slezak, Robin Strasser.... No.
  16. Look, I've made peace with JM being a part of this show 'til the bitter end. He's never been my idea of Nick Newman, but anyway here we are. I just wish TPTB would be more realistic about what he can and cannot play.
  17. JE is truly the last of that generation of actresses still working in soaps who gives 110% in every scene, no matter how awful the writing.
  18. Especially when we know that the chemistry is there between Cameron Mathison and Cynthia Watros. It's messy af, but doggone it, it works, lol.
  19. Now he can go back to being the Lesley Ann Warren impersonator he always was meant to be.
  20. No problem! As you can see, the majority of atypical episodes happened during the Peter S. Fischer era (1984-1991). Once he departed as showrunner, and especially after Lansbury took over production in '92, MSW became more risk-averse.
  21. Believe it or not, I'm actually intrigued by Carly, so I'm okay with her being the de-facto central heroine. So long as she doesn't get cloned, travel back in time through some Hobby Lobby paintings or experience psychic visions.
