  1. He certainly can't pull off whatever he's doing now, lol. I'm kidding.
  2. I think I'd go in a different direction with Dex. He says he comes from a (dysfunctional) family with two older, abusive brothers, and that he enlisted to get away from them. But - and I haven't been watching again for very long, so I'm not 100% sure whether this would work - I would reveal that he is, in fact, an only child, who grew up in wealth and privilege, but who rejected that lifestyle when he became "of age" and struck out on his own. You could even tie him and his family in with the Q's, saying, for example, that Tracy knew Dex's grandmother in finishing school or something.
  3. Isn't it interesting how you have two mysterious young men with similar-sounding names, save for one letter, both becoming Sonny's ward, and both ending up falling in love with Joss? Trust me: compared to Heather "My Hip Made Me Do It!" Webber, Nina Corinthos looks perfectly rational.
  4. Look at the bright side: if Ava drives a wedge between Sonny and Natalia, then Natalia can fall back on her other jobs: momaging her daughter's "trailblazing" music career, and tending to crime scenes in her push-up bra.* (*IYKYK)
  5. One thing's for sure: I don't buy the story that Dex told Sonny about his life once upon a time. He might be telling the truth about his military service overseas and why he was dishonorably discharged, but the other stuff, especially about his family, seems like something he manufactured in order to get in good with Sonny.
  6. I wasn't watching then either, so I don't know. But I do feel like Drew should display more anger or angst over having to live in the shadow of a "twin" brother who's really a common criminal. Drew should feel very resentful toward Jason's return, how that affects his status in town and so forth; and in turn, that jealousy should be propelling Drew to make some very foolish and life-changing decisions.
  7. Hey, I love store brands, too! But I know when I'm buying Wonder Bread, and when I'm buying Great Value Bread, and why, lol.
  8. I'm still amazed at how quickly Store Brand Jason bailed. I mean, no lingering feelings between the two of them, no playing "Will they get back together?" games with the audience. It was just, "Peace out, girly! Oh, hi, Nina, have some of my shirt!," lol. Yeah, even if that has been Jason's motivation at least, someone needs to remind Stone Cold that Michael is a grown ass man with a wife and kid of his own now, and that neither he nor his mom need protecting anymore.
  9. I agree. Nobody told Jason to go shoot guns and kill people for a mobster. And just because he's brain-damaged, that doesn't let him off the hook either. Actions carry consequences, and it's long past time for Jason Morgan to face some of his own.
  10. Thank you. I honestly don't remember everyone that Carly has slept with. Life is too damn short for that, and I've got my own problems, lol.
  11. I know I would think that was out of character, lol. Again, though, I'd love to know why Jason and Carly are so...obsessed with each other. (Just like I'm still waiting for GH to tell me why Heather has always been so damn crazy - and no, no "poisoned hip" explanation will do, lol). Jason and Carly don't need to acknowledge it for themselves. In fact, it's probably more intriguing if they DON'T acknowledge it. But I feel like the audience should have some sort of idea, so, at the very least, we won't get so annoyed every time Jason rushes to Carly's aid at the expense of everyone else.
  12. I'd still love to know why this show thinks Alexis can't do both (practice law and run a newspaper). I'd also love to know WHY Jason constantly puts Carly's needs and safety above most everyone else's. What makes him do it? Does he feel sorry for Carly? Is she that good in bed? Have they even BEEN to bed, lol?
  13. There better be a discount, or else what's the point?
  14. I’d sooner believe he was Lucky’s fraternal twin and that Luke sold him for a bottle of scotch and a home perm.
  15. You know what you are, @John? You're like that writer in the writers' room who brings up all the grammatical and spelling errors in the script at 3am, when all the rest of the room's concerned with is wrapping things up and going home. I've no idea what your response about Dex and Stone's ages has to do with my post which you have quoted, or with anything else.
  16. Right, but according to John... Granted, highly functioning autistic individuals do exist in society, but I think suggesting that Dex is himself autistic, without any prior indication, is a bridge too far for me.
  17. SORASing or not: Stone is autistic. Dex is not. Ergo, it wouldn't have made sense for Dex (or any individual who isn't on the spectrum) to be Stone.
  18. Why did people think Dex would turn out to be Stone? Did they think Stone's autism could magically cure itself?
  19. Gina Tognoni's like Candyman: say her name five times on a message board, she's bound to appear again somewhere. If not for the fact that his daughter remains on the canvas, it's almost as if Jasper Jacks and his family never existed. Which is fine by me, lol!
  20. They're twins. Demarco is a doctor, and Demetrius is a bouncer. And Deniece, their kid sister, is following in their dad, Desmond's, footsteps by going to law school.
  21. Wait a minute! That's the kid who played Jack's son on "Will & Grace," lol! What was even the point of Franco back then, except to give James Franco license to mock soaps as an "artistic experiment"?
  22. All that's missing is a Mr. Bill-like image of a clay "Abby" being crushed to death by a gigantic crane.
  23. Now that's what I call diabolical, lol! I still can't believe they killed someone (off-screen) by dropping a crane on them. That's Monty Python-level absurd.
