I think the one thing that tempered Kent, ultimately, was Anjelica McDaniel. I know she wasn't always loved... but she cared about the daytime lineup during her tenure. And it may not have been in the way(s) people wanted her to, but if changes needed to be made she'd get working on them as best she could.

I know discussions of a regular capacity were discussed but declined due to lack of regular males on-canvas, so... I'm PRAYING Mulcahey is able to craft a longer term storyline for Rena. She was ending her tenure when he came on the writing staff, I believe?

It's because the name is meant to be taken from Brooklyn, New York. Hence why it's annoying when people call her "Brooklyn" as if it's one-name when it's two: Brook Lynn.
