Ah, okay. I think Cole & Forester could have worked, honestly. Had it been Wright... I don't know. But, to think, Wheeler and co. tried selling the Cassie / Josh pairing to Wright to get her to stay. SMFH.

Did they ever try pairing Bradley Cole's Jeffrey with Nicole Forester's Cassie? I can't recall.

Ava was only meant to be a five-and-under role, but once Maura West was hired they offered her a deal. I think the main problem is, and I speak this as much as possible without being a West die-hard, is that they lobotomized Ava too much once she left the mob. She never bowed down to men, and then boom she was cowering in fear of Sonny & Carly, etc. and it completely just ruined the character, and they've yet to drag her out of that.

They did a full storyline involving Alex Marick and completely, from what I have read, 180'd the character.

Pair the two (which should've been done years ago), and then bring on Robert Adamson as Michael! 🤣

She looks absolutely checked-out in the role. If it were me, I'd send Maxie to Europe (Milan and/or Paris) for Deception business for three to six months. 👍🏻

It's overdue at this point; the last time I felt it could have been done is when both Julian & Sonny were sent to jail. That should have been the write-out period for the mob. Also, I know Port Charles was originally the medical spin-off for General Hospital, but it really should have been a mob-centric spin-off. We might have been spared. 🤣

Catherine LePard, Shannon Peace & Stacey Pulwer are the three names I've seen in the past year that are new (to me, any way). I'd be okay with some staff staying, but I also believe some of Mulcahey's associates should be coming in. Mulcahey comes from a time where when a new head writer was instilled, they brought their writing staff with them. Now? It isn't that way. And I know Charlotte Gibson is still employed (having joined in 2001, I believe?) so some post-Mulcahey's last tenure are still there on the writing staff.

💯 There are ways they could be helping her to dress he more in-line with character while maintaining comfort. I take the example of Rebekah Elmaloglou (Terese Willis) on Neighbours. She gained considerable weight following the birth of her son and, yet the character's fashion never suffered. It's not the weight that's the problem. Watching this week's promo makes me real hopeful Mulcahey puts an END to the violence on this soap, which should not be happening in 2024. It shouldn't... at least, not as easily as it does on General Hospital. Re-shift back onto the hospital.
