  1. Couldn't I just unalive myself? That'd be more enjoyable. I'll go Manson since his last is shorter (from what I've known of). Plus, his murders were by proxy, so.... Would you rather: a full year of rain or a full year of snow?
  2. He said that a male "former cast member is coming back… that the audience will go crazy for" and I'm going crazy but not in a good way.
  3. Also, Frank, sir..... you should've kept your damn mouth SHUT on this one.
  4. One episode? Why bother, LOL!
  5. A: Wrong topic title format B: Days too early to be posted (if we follow the same as the monthly topics list) @Errol @Toups
  6. As today, several opening head shots were updated or introduced: Sonny (updated) Michael (updated) Tracy (NEW) Violet Curtis (updated) Willow Elizabeth Kristina (NEW) Spinelli Anna (updated) Jason Maxie Sasha (updated) Cody (updated) Diane (updated) TJ (updated) Nina (updated) Carly (updated) Dex (updated) Drew Dante Brook Lynn Chase (updated) Ava
  7. I would have wanted this for any of the characters of colour before this social media shitstorm. But, now? It'd be too reactionary. The closest we got was Patrick Mulcahey penning Marshall's schizophrenia diagnosis in-connection to his race.
  8. Well, I know for A Very Salem Christmas, Eric Martsolf said his butt-scene was cut because NBC was worried fans were not ready for that... maybe NBCUniversal thinks the same? Baffling. It's 2024. Get over it.
  9. Oh, they definitely got new cameras, and I have comparison of 14 years, and the cameras have definitely improved in the past year's time. The lighting is still a problem (likely due to 4K lights and non-4K cameras, which resulted in the green-look we had for several years). However, the language is another issue... they've pushed boundaries a bit more, but not to the point where it couldn't have aired on NBC. It's disappointing. But again, given the atmosphere of that set, I'm also not surprised by it. I think a lot expected we'd be seeing bare asses (which we couldn't even get in A Very Salem Christmas or Beyond Salem), hear "fück" & "shït"every other word, and just overall go apeshit over the streaming platform.
  10. I hate that their website isn't accessible anymore, due to SSQ failure.
  11. And then we could have had Austin & Britt, but they wanted to force the Cody pairing on us. shame. Britt & Jason were just a breath of fresh air as a pairing. It worked. I was never into it until those scenes a week or so ago, and I got it. I understood.
  12. I concur; it's a shame it hadn't happened sooner, or that Kelly Thiebaud is unlikely to return... but, on the flip side, leaves me hoping for a Jason & Liz pairing.
  13. It's very clear, to me, recasting Alex Donnelly with Susan Walters was about shifting from Diane vs. Nikki to Diane vs. Phyllis, as Diane's focus shifted to Jack Abbott over Victor Newman. I know Donnelly's Diane shared one scene with Michelle Stafford's Phyllis prior to her 2001 departure, and there were definite sparks there, which is what I believe led to the recast in the first place. While controversial in casting, I do feel like Maura West did well against Stafford AND Melody Thomas Scott during her tenure in the role. But, then again, that's the power of La West!
  14. Was this during the Maralyn Thoma era? Just a brilliant scene... before Phyllis Summers we had Flame Beaufort!
  15. ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Also... Jill Farren Phelps did a lot wrong, but this was SO right... likely thanks to John Conboy!
  16. Ronn Moss & Susan Flannery both quitting should have been the beginning of the next generation for The Bold and the Beautiful, but instead... Bradley Bell recast Ridge. That should have been the catalyst for the launching of Hope / Rick / Steffy et al running things at Forrester, and vying for the lead of the company, re-shifting focus back on fashion. And then, with the introduction of Sally Spectra, do a semi-retelling of those early year storylines, with Brooke & Eric playing those beats of supporting leads. And then, maybe, bringing Thorne out of the damn basement. Instead.... we got stale, repeated storytelling.
  17. RUDE! I want.
  18. Leo Howard reminds me of a younger Guy Wilson (ex-Will). And while Jamie Martin Mann was excellent as Tate... I wouldn't wish him back onto the set.
