  1. Per TheWrap: ❝ One of the longest-running characters on the beloved soap opera, Hayes starred as Doug Williams since 1970 and continued playing him as the foundation of the Williams-Horton family throughout his life for over 50 years and 2,000 episodes, the last of which aired December 2023. ❞ "the last of which" makes it appear as if the Christmas episode(s) were his final appearances, which I kind of felt when I watched them.
  2. Deadline Hollywood notes he appeared through 2023. Does this mean the Christmas episode was his final appearance?
  3. I just saw this on Soap Opera Digest. Wow. RIP!!
  4. That's what I was thinking at this point, LOL.
  5. Six hours later, and I'm all caught up on Emmerdale. How fun!
  6. So true! I'm much more into the interim writing General Hospital bad, but so far there has been improvement at Days of Our Lives, and I am hoping TPTB upstairs at Days of Our Lives are paying close attention, and make the necessary changes.
  7. Those eyes and that smile is everything.
  8. I need this to be on streaming; saw clips from the addiction storyline of Abby's daughter, and OMG I need to see this series. Cmon, MAX, put the remaster up!
  9. Chloe and Damon Harris are related?! That was something I did not see coming! Whew.
  10. I need to get back into this soap... but I stopped around June / July, I think? And don't want to go that far back, LOL!
  11. They legit said, "Add more paneling to the wall! No one will notice!" haha.
  12. Same; it was those kind of moments when I can suspend belief and just... exist because of how beautiful it is.
  13. Yup. That's true. And the others were not added until their characters died, as well (ie: Epiphany). The way the past few episodes were handled, via cast, was beautiful.
  14. 💯 They would only have to pay those not presently on the show, etc. and if anything, it would be Brad Maule, etc.
  15. He's there; he is in episodic stills from the episode, as well as the collective shot released via People. I'm pretty sure he's sitting next to Kevin (and Laura).
  16. Jamie Martin Mann follows Leo Howard so I don't know if it is necessarily a Tate recast. That would be disappointing if true.
  17. OH! OH! OH! OZEMPIC! YOU KNOWWWWWWW
  18. IF they do bring out B.J. somehow and with Kirsten Storms back as Maxie, I would not be opposed to Nicole Paggi stepping into the role, given her temporary work as Maxie.
  19. Yup. Little-to-no acting from [most] of the cast, and I love that.
