  1. Retcon that to Gia's daughter, instead. And Tajh Bellow should've been Tommy Hardy Jnr from the start, too. If one positive comes out of Burton's potential return, which I hope does not happen, would be for Cameron Mathison to be OUT!
  2. 💯 I completely concur with this! TRUTH!
  3. Brook Kerr easily could've been cast as Gia instead of a new character.
  4. Varni teased an announcement during tomorrow night's ABC special. My guess? It's Steve Burton's return to the role of Jason Morgan. The publicity hiring him on brought.
  5. Coloma tried for 2.5 seconds, and then COVID hit and when everyone came back, he coasted on his female co-stars to carry him.
  6. Whether Nik is gone or not, Lulu is someone I'd like to see return this year.
  7. But, Huss continues to come back and we've only seen him in limited quantities. And, within those time limits, I've liked what I've seen and wouldn't mind giving him a chance to do more. And, if that does not work out, then yes write the role out.
  8. I get the idea of killing off Nikolas, but I don't see it as a necessity. Now, had Tyler Christopher been in the role recently, then yes I'd feel that way, but he'd been out of the role since 2016. Oh, it was bad, IMHO. A lot of stars looked like they had gotten "refreshed" days-to-hours prior to the event, and it was very off-putting.
  9. Lucci's work at the Daytime Emmys was APPALLING!
  10. I concur, re: the work. I'm all for people doing whatever it is they want to do, but... yeah.
  11. The "she's come undone" storyline is quintessential Cynthia Watros. I know you don't, but the two instances where he's appeared were quite well done and miles better, in terms of legal-world, than anything Martin / Diane have given us in YEARS. Plus, we could rid ourselves of Kentucky Fried Martin and potentially pair Lucy with Jackson, or even Jackson with Alexis. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'd be open to it; I've liked Tanisha Harper since day one, despite how green she was. But, it's clear to me her hiring was a result of the fact Sean Blakemore was leaving. A.K.A. "we're losing a Black actor, so we've got to hire another!"
  12. Melchoir was a choice for the potential of recasting Byrne, yes. I do wonder what the other two choices could have done in the role.
  13. 🤣 It's all the wig-changing she endured every single episode. Mess.
  14. Cut: italics note recurring Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) Joshua Benard (Adam Wright) Risa Dorken (Amy Driscoll) Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn) Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte Cassadine) Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht) Robert Gossett (Marshall Ashford) Gregory Harrison (Gregory Chase) Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller) Evan Hofer (Dex Heller) Michael E. Knight (Martin Grey) Jeff Kober (Cyrus Renault) Jophielle Love (Violet Finn) Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait) Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) Alley Mills (Heather Webber) Avery Kristen Pohl (Esme Prince) Stephen A. Smith (Brick) Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) Vernee Watson (Stella Henry) Demote to recurring: Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson) Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford) Sofia Mattson (Sasha Gilmore) Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) Promote to regular (or use more consistently): Réal Andrews (Marcus Taggert) Gavin Houston (Zeke Robinson) Adam Huss (Nikolas Cassadine) Cassandra James (Terry Randolph) Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine) Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins) Rena Sofer (Lois Cerullo) Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery) Bring on Cara Castillo! We last saw him in November 2023, when Asher Antonyzyn debuted in the role.
  15. If it were me, I'd keep Sofia Mattsson on but, bump her to recurring. And if it were a choice between dropping Maxie or Nina, then I'd drop Maxie. Maybe even to just recurring and having her only appear a few times per year for a year or two. My one concern with that, though, is what it could cause to happen to Kristina Wagner's Felicia.
  16. Because the "writer" writes for actor not character; no way would Louise Sorel have done that material, plus, Strasser is a pet of the "writer."
  17. Adam Huss is continuing his work as Nikolas Cassadine, and it makes me very, very happy.
  18. I could add a few more to this, but, yeah... a good generalized list.
  19. 💯 I completely agree. Having Rena Sofer back has been such a thrill, even if Chris & Dan and co. have not done as well as the interim team have. 🤣 Go for it; I've got one, too!
  20. I think she is, but was told they couldn't commit long-term because of how many female regulars vs. male regulars there were. My response? DEMOTE SOME PEOPLE!
  21. Two consecutive days of decent episodes... lord, what not having "the writer" involved has done for this soap. Just wait until the abuser is gone, too. Whew.
  22. Who knows. I know she and Shawn seem to be creative life coaches, too, and Shawn (according to his IG bio) is an OUTSIDE TV news director.
