  1. The team?! Does this team include Patrick Mulcahey?!
  2. I'm going to be controversial, but the "writer" is worse. I never "stopped" watching Days of Our Lives during Dena Higley's first stint, and I even struggled through her 2015 50th anniversary return alongside Josh Griffith & Beth Milstein, yet I stopped multiple times under the "writer," including now. So yeah... there's that.
  3. Thank fück. Again: I do believe Frank Valentini is talking about the return of John J. York's Mac. I do.
  4. Lorraine Broderick especially. But I also think, after All My Children, she didn't want to head write anymore. But she should have gone to General Hospital over the "writer."
  5. It's a lost-cause at this point, and it's obvious they still are not utilizing that they're a streaming soap.
  6. It'd be easy: bring the Hortons back in. Stop with the multiple personality storylines, baby-swaps and never-ever mention the damn Devil again!
  7. Both are a legitimate nightmare. I'd love to write for daytime, but I'd turn down Days of Our Lives for a myriad of reasons... the first being the head writer.
  8. Should have been Josh Kelly. That would have been ACE casting. But we all know Disney Television is waiting for Jonathan Jackson to call and say, "I'm in!" 🤣
  9. You know what they say about big noses... 😇
  10. Instead of Chris Van Etten as a breakdown writer, it should have been Dan O'Connor, who was the stronger of the two. I am happy O'Connor is employed, but boasting that you're working with the "writer" and the [former] blog owner, that isn't something to be proud about.
  11. It's probably John J. York's return as Mac Scorpio.
  12. Part is due to their liking of Sydney Mikayla, whom they believe should still be in the role... and some just being plain-old racist.
  13. As if 11:25am ET, the post is no longer clipped for me.
  14. Of course; I can't speak for everyone, but I feel like anyone who does not meet the "status quo" of beauty is automatically dismissed, and weight plays into that. As a heavier-set person, someone called me "beautiful" the other day and I couldn't accept that, when I should have. Society plays into that, too. Am I running for Wegovy? No. But do I want it? Yes, I do, to help me improve my health (which plays into my weight).
  15. This Mounjaro / Ozempic / Wegovy / craze is interesting, because unlike weight loss fads or situations in the past, I don't see this one as bad as the 2004–2007 craze when everyone wanted to be sickly thin. I think those using the three options above for the sake of managing their weight and assisting them in weight loss / weight maintaining, then it's good. But those abusing it, a.k.a. the celebrities who really do not see it (a.k.a. the Housewives), are the problem with it. As someone who has struggled with their weight all of their teen years and adult life, I've never felt the pressure to be thin but the pressure to lose weight? Yes. It's there. And there is something about Wegovy that is... enticing, especially as someone who has an unhealthy relationship with food. Have I lost weight before? Sure. Was it difficult and take a long-ass time? Yes. Would one of these products help me? Fück yes. Would I like to use them? Fück yes. I think we equate skinny with being healthy... but that is not always the truth. And the same with being heavier with being unhealthy. It's about what's healthy and where you're healthy.
