It was a classic Friday cliffhanger, which I am not mad about. And given how much people have b*tched about wanting more of those, too, I have a feeling it is going to be the right choice for a lot of people.

So disappointing. I know I would be heartbroken. Aw, Tracy! Yay! I am so happy she's shown up to support Anita right now! The drop is at Garland Memorial? Oh, this is as risky as ever because Jacob is known. Uh-oh. I like how supportive Bradley and Naomi are of each other. It is just disappointing that Bradley has to keep Naomi in the dark about knowing what is going on with Jacob. I love that Anita can be honest and upfront with Tracy and that it is her safe place right now. It is not that she cannot do it with her family; it is that Tracy has a history with this. So it helps. The more Bradley becomes involved in the plasma ring, the more I am becoming worried about him becoming possible collateral and disposable. Damn. Derek's stubbornness might just be the key to unlocking access to Lia about the free clinic. Good on him. Damn, Derek. He sold that like it was nothing. C'mon Bradley, you have to put your actor's hat on and do a better job at being 'surprised' in a happier way. Hmm... who was in the elevator during the swap-off in the brown scrubs? I will be closely paying attention. OH SNAP! IT WAS GRAYSON! Notes: We are lucky to conclude the week with a Slater script. Her classic soap knowledge is embedded in any script she is involved with. Tamara Tunie (Anita) was the star of the show today. Her performance in this storyline is just... surreal and very grounded. No one could have sold this storyline in the way she has. Emmy-worthy performance. And her impression of Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) was spot-on. The twist with Jordi Vilasuso (Grayson) was insane! Kudos to Williford for filming it in the way he did.

I agree. I hope those who are looking (if they are) can see through the BS of those on social media and see the genuine constructive criticism for what it is. Is the soap perfect? No. But surely it's enjoyable.

It really is not. Sure, is it as great as it has been in the past? No. But is it the horror show people want to keep claiming it is? Hell no.

At least Randy appears to maintain composure. I do wonder if the power Bill holds is because of his name or because of the fact he is still using the Dupree name he was once associated with. Dana, girlfriend, tone it the frick down. Eva has made her stance clear: you should focus on learning that you have salaried employees, not hourly-rate pay. A naked bounce house? Undoubtedly, the idea of a naked bounce house is quite unpleasant. One wrong move and your skin is going to hit the PVC and hurt like a mother. Talking in forceful yet hushed tones is not necessarily whispering in secret. It pulls people into the conversation if anything, making them feel included and engaged in the discussion. Dana's continued blows, especially where Douglas is concerned, show just how nasty and heartless she actually is. Hayley's waterworks are as ridiculous as Chelsea trying to investigate her meeting with 'Sammy'. But it looks like they worked somehow. OK, yes, let's make the brickhouse the face of the clinic. That sounds incredibly boring and dull. We should avoid bringing up Allison again. Here comes the trauma dump. I sense it. The tension between Dana and Vanessa is palpable, ranging from whether one's hair matches their pubic region to the colour of one's heart. Whew. The tension is intense. Bill do not leave town with Hayley. You may not return back and if you do, it may not be as you left. When Derek becomes the voice of reason... there is a problem. 😬 Notes: Tate's dialogue is refreshing, and Montgomery has us back on track. His position as continuity producer as well came in handy today with the callback to Wayne. Leslie Mann-Grant (Dana) is fantastic. HOWEVER... the character needs to be rested severely. She is bordering on caricature and not one that could be considered real. It is becoming off-putting. I am sorry... but are we chem-testing Ben Gavin (Derek) and Ambyr Michelle (Eva)? I am sensing some major testing in their recent scenes. Oh my... we are chem-testing them!
