  1. Sally becoming co-executive producer helped the show, visually, in my eyes, so I don't see this as a negative change at all. Now if only demos could continue to... uh, underperform, so he can be let go as head writer.
  2. I mean, Sally's role as co-executive producer was to allow him time to focus on writing, so I doubt much will change in the interim. He's either got to quit or demos need to just take a huge nosedive into the toilet.
  3. Very close-minded point of view that is actually quite false.
  4. The Young and the Restless Exclusive: Head Writer Josh Gr...Soap Central has learned exclusively that The Young and the Restless has made a backstage change. Sally McDonald, the show's co-executive producer, is now Y&R's executive producer.
  5. I miss my soap and cannot wait for its return tomorrow. The only soap I want to watch.
  6. Credits for Wednesday, May 6, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Suzanne Flynn; Scott Sickles and Cathy Lepard Director: Allison Reames Smith
  7. Real good episode today with some storyline movement. Really liking a lot of what's going on. Wow. Cannot believe I'm fully back into DAYS for the first time in over ten years. And Deidre Hall's facelift? Outstanding! She hasn't looked this good since Marlena's return in 2011.
  8. The way in which he must be typing it so often that his phone just knows to auto-capitalise it is comical to me.
  9. The auto-capitalised "T" in "Trump" says so much. 👀
  10. Amazing. Thanks so much!
  11. I know Vilasuso said he's open to it, but it's unlikely, due to him and Vaughan both commuting from out of state. I will say at least Vilasuso is higher in status than Vaughan is.
  12. Credits for Tuesday, May 5, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte Writers: Emily Culliton; Steve Rosenberg and Cathy Lepard Director: Jillian Dedote
  13. Both Joshua Morrow and Melody Thomas Scott did outstanding work today... I just wish the emotional pull of their scenes had lasted a bit longer than they did before flipping to talking about Patty Williams, etc.
  14. According to the website, the thirty-eighth season is dropping five episodes every Monday.
  15. The only thing shocking about today was Carly telling Brennan to "turn around". Other than that, meh. Laughable episode, especially that so-called "performance".
  16. Trust me, I have a full grip and did read the original comment. And my response still stands regardless of your attempt to try and scold me days later. Continue doing whatever it is you actually do.
  17. Me watching this "performance".
  18. Credits for Monday, May 4, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Nigel Campbell; Stacey Pulwer and Cathy Lepard Director: Robert Markham
  19. original release date: Monday, May 4, 2026 | writers: Michael Montgomery, Jazmen Darnell Brown | director: Steven Williford Thoughts: Dana is unapologetic, just enjoying being in the country club on the anniversary of her imploding it with her secrets. Shady. And looking like some garden granny while doing it. Grayson, I do not think leaving is going to help calm Ashley's worries. At all. Love seeing Anita and Naomi catch up over some tea. Nice seeing their relationship continue to develop and play out. Bill talking about Vernon just walking into his office without knocking... hilarious. Everyone walks into that office like that. Ha. Shanice needs to be careful about what she says to Lia, because without knowing it, she is giving the wrong person intel they do not need to know. I get what Bill is saying about Martin, but it is clear both he and Vernon want what's best for him, but that there are different ways in which they see fit to help him. Very interesting that Lia entertains Katherine. Despite being a Dupree, I doubt she is someone I could see having a conversation with Katherine. And now Lynette is emptying accounts. Wow-za. Ashley, I get it... Grayson is gorgeous, but now is not the time for sex jokes at all. Yup. Lia is not going to crack via Katherine's questions. And she clearly has no time for her shenanigans, either. Dana, you really cannot read the damn room, can you? Lord. Enough is enough. About time someone stands up to Ted for being nice to Dana, and I am glad it is Martin, who seems unimpressed by his father's bad choice of actions. Nicole devoured Dana right up. Hilarious. She owned her right up. Uh-oh. Miss Ashley is officially in trouble if she is being watched by someone. No bueno. Notes: So happy it is a Montgomery script day! His work as continuity producer comes in handy for his scripts. And Brown continues to be one of the top scriptwriters this soap has. A perfect match. A character-heavy episode, which helped it feel quite full and active, which I did like.
  20. According to Soap Opera Digest, Vivica A. Fox is sticking around.
