  1. Well, that's what you do when you have a pet you pander to, despite undoing plenty of character development others did with the character. People can gripe and moan about Jill Farren Phelps all they want, but the one thing she does know how to do is produce a soap, and those flashbacks proved it. And not a single mention of a business merger, an AI program, or anything. How riveting. I miss when she had Fenmore's to visit and then Newman Enterprises shareholder meetings to visit, etc. She was actually used for something.
  2. date: Tuesday, December 9, 2025 | Teresa Zimmerman, Judy Tate | Anthony Pascarelli Does the con artist child bride not think about the fact that Caroline could walk around the corner or that there might just be security cameras catching her poisoning Bill's tea? And speaking of his stroke, I have come to think: did she have something to do with it as well? Nice to see some reasonable scenes between Anita and Bill, especially after Bill's recent talk(s) with Vernon. Goes to show that there are still some underlying emotions between them that exist. I love that despite showing some kind of courtesy to Bill, she is still holding him accountable and calling him out on his B.S. Looks like Vernon is still linking up with Sharon for their private meetings for whatever could be coming. Dani is the ultimate definition of a "Daddy's Girl", and it is a role that suits her. For someone as plastered as Vanessa was at WinterFest, she is standing quite well. I am impressed. Clearly, she holds her liquor better than she let on. It is weird but I do believe Joey when he says he wants to protect Vanessa from his "world"; however, I still believe Vanessa wants to expose that world to avenge Douglas' death. Too many public meetings between the con artist child bride and Randy, from the casino to the café location. They need to be smarter about things. Bill, sir, you are trying a bit too much to divert the conversation from your appointment to Madison's relationship with Chelsea. Oh dear Lord in Heaven, what did Anita walk in on?... oh goodness. The anvils are dropping. Oh. It is an intimate dinner for two at home. Okay, now that is super sweet. I am with Andre: teleporting would likely be my superpower of choice. It would be a lifesaver. Anastasia... not going to lie, you thought you were being catty in a winning way, but it truly showed how much you like kicking someone when they are down to lift yourself up. That is ugly. Sorry Randy. I do not know if it is nerves or the fact she might actually feel something about Bill... time can and will tell. Those extra few droplets will surely mean that they show up in his blood tests, especially when he just got a bill of clear health from Madison. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Aw, I genuinely hope Chelsea and Madison are able to patch things up. I just adore them together! Chemistry galore. The reactions to Joey showing up and making a scene with Vanessa were everything... Anastasia should really go smell those bath salts and shove them... as Vanessa tried suggesting. Oh no, no, no... Dr Ahn, why did you have to call?! Well, that was fast-acting as Hell. I told you it would backfire, though. Just wait and see. Notes: One of the better breakdowns by the writer but it is still subpar, bringing in those piss-poor characteristics he had at Days of Our Lives that do not belong at this soap. Thankfully, Brown is an amazing scriptwriter, so he is able to mask them up as much as humanly possible. I appreciate the mentioning of mammograms and eye checkups, especially for women of Anita's age. They are vitally important. I love that Black Santa Claus nutcracker on the Dupree's piano. A nice touch that feels very personal to that family. The blonde nurse in the background of Garland Memorial was giving some... interesting body language in today's episode. Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) continues to be a standout amongst the cast; love that we are getting more comedic moments with her. She excels in both comedy and drama. A well-rounded, versatile actor.

  5. I concur; it also felt nice to have an event that was not uprooted by drama, etc. It is not always needed nor necessary. It's nice having a holiday-centric event with the majority of the cast (contract/principal guest) and not having things go awry.
  6. Today's episode showed Josh Griffith's strengths as a writer: focused-type episodes, despite being dependent on history that was not his to begin with. However, the flashbacks proved just how low quality the scripts happen to be under Griffith as head writer. RC Cates is great as music supervisor, but those more classic cues from the mid-2000s were simply unmatched. And out of all the interruptions, the one person we did not need in this episode was Phyllis. At all.
  7. I think it's a precursor of what's to come, especially in 2026, so I enjoyed it. And it gets me hyped for the next year's festivities. I mean, they filmed this in August, so I'm not surprised things outside were not shown.
  8. I agree; hell, put her in a t-shirt and PJ bottoms, with her hair kind of messy in a bun. That is sexy (right?). There are ways to present sexy without looking like you've got a problem, like Maria.
  9. It was off-putting with him there topless and her so covered up. They say opposites attract, but there was nothing attracting in those scenes. Hell, even Sutton's hair (to me) was a mess.
  10. I appreciate what we got for WinterFest; if this had been another soap (and I do not like comparing), like General Hospital, it would've been a Nurse's Ball situation, which is always multiple days too long. This was just the right amount of time; perhaps in 2026 we'll get an extra day or two, but for their first-ever onscreen event, it was well done.
  11. It was great and was just nice to have that kind of episode. Loved it.
  12. I agree: it's very powerful and very honest of her to be so open about what she's dealing with, and I genuinely hope that it helps someone, even if it's only one person.
  13. Nate Hapke, who has been part of the directing team of General Hospital since 2017, received what I believe might be his first solo credit as an episodic director.

  15. date: Monday, December 8, 2025 | Teresa Zimmerman, Judy Tate | Anthony Pascarelli Of course the spoilt, self-centred bitch does not want to move in with Tomas. He is dodging a sure-fire bullet by her saying no. Well hello, Kial! You are quite the looker! Honey, yum-yum! Jacob cannot take himself away from the job, can he? I love how hype Dani is for Nicole and her date with Kial. That is what sisterhood should be about! Vanessa is three sheets to the wind and she is about to be her fourth. Wow. What an adult conversation between Ashley and Dani; I like those kinds of moments. And love Ashley throwing the gun incident in Dani's face in a "hee-hee, ha-ha" moment. Not Dana eavesdropping and Marcel doing absolutely nothing about it. Great job as security, Marcel. Hard to believe this is the first encounter between Eva and Hayley... nice of Eva to extend the olive branch to the con artist child bride to join them. Keke Wyatt looks beautiful! However, the singing...? A bit overdone for my liking, but I appreciate her artistry within R&B/soul music. Dana may have skulked, but I know she will pounce when the time is less than opportune. Notes: Amazing work by Zimmerman and Tate handling such a cast-packed day. Nothing felt too overpaced or underdone. Everything flowed effortlessly well. The introduction of Greg Vaughan's Kial felt natural. He fits right into the cast already. And the chem-testing with Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) is electric already. They have got it. It is cast overload today; it is giving me old-school soap days when we had the collective cast on one central set. Walk-on role on a new soap? I see you, Tate! I see you with the drop-in! Lauren Buglioli (Lauren) plays the classic soap drunk perfectly well. God, she is a star. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) needs to stop BOBBING HIS DAMN HEAD! It is getting ridiculous at this point. The fashion in today's episode is top tier. Everyone looks exquisite, even those who are not necessarily dressed to the nines.

  17. Absolute s**t writing (of course) but John McCook, as per usual, is doing outstanding.
  18. Seeing Tamara Braun in scenes with Eric Braeden truly makes me wish TPTB back in 2005 had waited just a bit more time and cast her as Victoria, because I know these two going toe-to-toe is going to be delicious. However, I do adore Amelia Heinle in the role (that is rightfully hers and has been for nearly 21 years).
  19. I agree; it's so sad knowing it's ending in four episodes. Surreal. But I am thankful for Amazon MGM/Prime Video for giving us these past two years. They've been blessings.
  20. Early detection is always a blessing. Truly.
