  2. original release date: Monday, April 13, 2026 | writers: Jamey Giddens, Jazmen Darnell Brown | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Dana, do you believe Marcel plans to take you to a five-star dining experience? You would be the one treating him at that point. Let's be honest about that. Good to see a chief of staff be prompt in responding to a potential security breach in their hospital. Whew.... Deanna is truly her mother's daughter. She is not messing about where Joey is concerned. Vanessa's fiery personality is clearly evident. Lia is very level-headed about the situation, although I would wager she could also be trying to protect her involvement in the plasma ring. I am sure of it. I feel for Donnell ⏤ torn between his mother and his twin. Two strong, viable bonds that can ultimately pull him in opposing directions. And it is refreshing to see Vanessa think about her history with her mum and hers with her grandmother. Good to see tradition continue to be followed, as unfortunate as it may be. Not Bradley's presence sparks some concern for Nicole. See, this is why he should not have used her laptop to access hospital files. The way Lia is already on Dana's neck is brilliant. She truly must be the most-hated person in Fairmont Crest. And Lia is beyond unfazed by it. Once again, Dana's presence just making Joey lose his mind is hilarious. He does not like her one bit. Ashley has become a bit paranoid lately, likely due to Lia's continued feelings towards her. Poor dear. She was doing so well, too. Deanna and Vanessa battling is electric. Truly. And if that is how Vanessa was with her mother, it makes me wonder how those confrontations were back in her day. wow. I like that Lia is encouraging Ashley, but it also makes me wonder if she has some kind of ulterior motive up her cold sleeves. I know Deanna is hurt but she continues to cross lines that she should not be crossing in the way she does. Regardless of how she feels, Vanessa is still her mother and the only parent she has left. And that should mean something to her. Notes: Ugh. Not beginning the week with writer2's material. And poor Brown being paired with it... at least he can turn s**t into gold. The past week's episodes have seen some outstanding improvements in post-production colour quality. It all looks perfect. So perfect. The casting of Lauren Buglioli (Vanssa), Alex Cheeks (Donnell), and Angela Fairley (Deanna) continues to be top-notch as family. They work so well separately as they do together. Cecelia Sprecht was the right person to cast for Lia. She plays her role well but also has such a dynamic presence that she can play other facets of Lia's personality that remain beneath the surface.

  4. I would gladly bash Brooke's face and her head into the sharpest object in Katie's office. Insufferable b*tch.
  5. Different suit from a different costume designer and nah, Mandi Line can stay. She's the one highlight about this soap behind-the-scenes. Line has shown where she shops, and it's far from Kohl's.
  6. That fight was choreographed AF, but Crew Morrow definitely is his father's son. He dominated, just like Joshua Morrow did in that classic Crimson Lights fight with Eddie Cibrian.
  7. She's the easiest to rehire because she's always willing and able and the easiest to fire because you know she's going to come back. But, on the flip side, the canvas does not need nor warrant Chloe unless John-Paul Lavoisier were exiting as Philip and they wanted her to pop in to reunite with him again. But it feels like they want to keep Philip as an active participant on the canvas, which he should be.
  8. We do not need Chloe back. At all.

  11. The way things can improve under a co-EP that has some sense. I always liked Maxam.

  14. It was a very good episode. Today's outfit for Hayley is as close to Fenmore's as she can get.

  16. original release date: Friday, April 10, 2026 | writers: Sara A. Bibel, Cheryl L. Davis | director: Steven Williford Thoughts: Poor June! I am sure it is not easy feeling such pressure when your wishes are not being respected, especially by one of your children. Hopefully, with Nicole being there, she can help temper the situation. Welp... Madison got served. That cannot be a positive sign, can it? I see Ms Vanessa is continuing to work her plan to insert herself into Joey's businesses. I just hope the endgame remains the same. Uh-oh... Randy, Ms. Lynette is exposing your cover in multiple ways. Deanna ordered a vodka soda and did not get carded? I know she is a college student, but damn... Uptown staff should be cautious about this. Joey is absolutely getting off on Randy's secrets, and he is totally going to enjoy figuring it out. Of course Madison's mother would cause her to be sued for malpractice. Why do I sense a very tense family confrontation about to happen? Hayley shops at Fenmore's? Her looks do not read as such outside of the one she is wearing today. Maybe it is time to go back to the alleyway, you two? The stairwell just seems like such a suspect spot. I appreciate Nicole trying to de-escalate the situation between June and Samantha, but the latter is just making this worse by allowing her attitude and emotions to play on full blast. Oh my God... June is breaking my heart. I cannot imagine the burden she carries having to feel that every single day of her life. Seeing Bill and Naomi both approach Madison's lawsuits from different viewpoints is refreshing. You can see both of their points of view and approaches. Deanna is invoking her mother by approaching Joey. This will either end badly or poorly. I do not see a positive resolution between them occurring. Oh my... that little tiff between Nicole and Vanessa was heartbreaking. Both spoke some very honest, raw truths, and I can tell they are both beyond hurt at the other. Wow. I like that Bill and Naomi are going to be working together on Madison's legal team to fight the malpractice lawsuit. Together they could be very formidable. Notes: Bibel and Davis have proven themselves a formidable team as writers, and today's episode was no exception. A seamless flow and effortless execution. Jasmine Burke (June) continues to show up. She aced her material today and really made my heart break for June as if she were talking directly to me.
  17. Writers: Sara A. Bibel Cheryl L. Davis Director: Steven Williford
