  1. original release date: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 | writers: Jamey Giddens, Judy Tate | director: Sonia Blangiardo-Goins Thoughts: I know that Anita is likely joking about writing a novel, but I do think given all she has gone through, it could be a good idea to get some of her creativity out. Ooh-la la, look at Bradley flirting with his husband. And yes! The chemistry is alive and despite all that happened last year, I am truly happy for them right now. I like the friendship (and friendship only) between Donnell and Samantha; it is nice to see him so supportive of her with the upcoming cotillion. And Donnell's breakfast sounds delicious. Given how Darlene reacted to Naomi in the beginning, who knows how she will continue to be with Eva. I am hoping that it works out well, but it could blow up in the end. It is so nice to see that Anita's spark is coming back after the infection that had her giving up. Damn. Not the afternoon delight being postponed! That was the perfect time, despite Jacob waiting and Vernon's impending arrival. A quickie would have sufficed, no? Vernon calling Dani a snitch was hilarious. They definitely have that father-daughter relationship down pat. What is going on with June? She is acting quite peculiar with Donnell and Samantha right now. Damn. Looks like the Rashad persona is beginning to rub off on Jacob, and that is not a positive thing. DAMN! Darlene does not mince her words or hold her tongue. And look out, here comes Dana. This is about to get very, very interesting. And just as I suspected... this is going to be a hilarious mess. Darlene's facial reactions and body language towards Dana are telling. Martin's embarassment at discussing his sex life with Vernon is beyond grounding, and I love how candid Vernon is willing to be with him, too. Good on Donnell for encouraging Samantha to excel in areas she is comfortable with and that will set her apart from everyone else at the cotillion. Dani's self-doubts about her return to the modeling industry feel rooted in realness, and her concerns about it make sense. And I feel like models have the same kind of feelings. My heart is broken for Eva. She was genuinely trying to impress Darlene and be liked by her, and Dana came in like her usual self, destroyed any chance of that, and is now going for a cocktail and a spa treatment? She should have just kept her trap shut. Martin talking about increasing security surrounding his campaign worries me that something is going to happen. First Bradley's involvement with the plasma ring, and now this political campaign! This is not going to end well for the Richardson Smith family. Damn. Darlene has some strong feelings and while I may not agree, I do know she is entitled to have them. Wow. And poor Eva having to overhear her warning Izaiah. That cannot feel good at all. Notes: Writer2 was not needed today. Huge downgrade. Monique Mosee (Darlene) is quite the find. She works so well in the role and is definitely the anti-Anita. Welcome aboard!

  3. Overall, not a bad episode. When we're not endlessly discussing A.I., this soap is not hard to swallow. It will be intriguing to see where both Malcolm's and Stephanie's storylines are going to lead. They're both dressed impeccably, and Shemar Moore looks good.
  4. Lami is a decent actor (no one to write home about); however, his bobblehead movements have yet to stop since day one, and that's my main problem with him.
  5. Yes, it was me joking with you. Haha. Simply because Justine is a brunette. 🤣 And we know Maurice is going to try and sell this pairing as if it's Sonny's pairing with Brenda, lmao.
  6. Overall, today's episode was definitely an improvement over yesterday. Things moved at a much better pace and didn't feel like a drag to watch.
  7. Wow. Kristina looks amazing!!!!
  8. I just checked and Dallas is offering to buy HD episodes, too.
  9. Same. Guess we're just unicorns shooting rainbows out of our asses. 🌈
  10. You can call her Brenda 2.0.
  11. But for me to prefer DAYS over GH is.... something.
  12. 2pm ET viewers got it about half-way through, and it was boring AF. Seriously, GH is doing little for me to the point where DAYS is more interesting to watch. ☠️
  13. original release date: Monday, April 6, 2026 | writers: Teresa Zimmerman, Danielle Paige | director: Anthony Pascarelli Thoughts: It is so considerate of Ashley to recreate the favours from Jacob's and Naomi's wedding. That is amazing detail. Damn. Darlene does not mess around. She does not like anyone for her children, does she? Makes me wonder how Naomi won her arrogant, snot-nosed ass over. Glad we are revisiting Naomi's passing for helping those who do not have a voice to speak for themselves (which, btw, does not require an office). It is so sweet that Jacob asked Dani for Naomi's hand in marriage and not Bill's. That is such a sweet twist of fate. Notes: Zimmerman and Paige did outstanding work with the script today. Definitely a niche episode today. I appreciate it, though. They did some great work really developing Jacob and Naomi's history prior to the serial's beginning.
  14. Credits for Monday, April 6, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Louise Rozett; Stacey Pulwer and Cathy Lepard Director: Gary Tomlin
  15. Not necessarily. Kristina Davis is a character on General Hospital, whereas Christina Baldwin was a character from its spinoff, Port Charles, so having both characters on the canvas presently with the same name (pronunciation-wise) could prove difficult. Reminds me of the time when Olivia Jerome came back and Olivia Falconeri was pretty much unnamed during that time to avoid confusion (or, if anything, the latter was referred to as 'Liv').
  16. Today's episode is now airing in areas that air at the 2pm ET hour.
  17. And the east coast broadcast has come on. Full-day preemption not happening.
  18. While they've yet to announce, it is highly likely GH is nationally preempted for tomorrow due to ABC News Special Reporting.
  19. It's unfortunate, but as @Errol explained previously, contractually, ABC/CBS/NBC are to report on these things as they are news networks, IIRC.
  20. East Coast broadcasts were preempted due to a CBS News special report. IIRC, the last time this happened, CBS/Paramount+ still released the episode to streaming at 5pm ET.
