BTG: November 2025 Discussion Thread
date: Thursday, November 20, 2025 | Ron Carlivati, Danielle Paige | Phideaux Xavier Peaches sounds like she is about to cough her ass to death. Get her ass, Martin. Lay down the law to the spoilt bitch who thinks she is God's gift to the earth. Shanice is not having any of what Dana is trying to sell. Dana, you have met your damn match. Not the con artist child bride trying to cover up what Naomi walked in on. Hilarious. Not the spoilt bitch counting up what Eva "owes them". Martin is right on this one. Surprised how level-headed he is about this. And good on him for correcting the "half" mess. The con artist child bride is really tangled up in some hot-ass messes. Naomi does not owe you a single thing. At all. YES, YOU ARE A TOTAL BITCH! A SPOILT ONE AT THAT! Chelsea, you had me until the end; I can appreciate her trying to change a stubborn, entitled mind. Martin having Eva's back is so pure. I love seeing that side of him. That smirk of Bill drinking the poison is ridiculous. Shanice vs. Dana could actually be juicy. And Dana, Ted is not your man. Notes: Ugh. Not another day with the writer as the breakdown writer. Thankfully, we have Paige today to make sure things are better executed.

2025: The Directors and Writers Thread
I agree; plus, even if for a short period of time, Tracey Bregman was on contract for the first time in several years. The issue is what she was asked to do (and I fully believe she was) in updating Y&R. But yes, the show still looked like how it should have looked. Thankfully, we're getting back [visually] to what it was, but it is still lacking some richness from my POV. Phelps definitely operates from more of a business perspective (in comparison to a creative perspective), and her use of music/sense of direction is solid (I will give her that). Truthfully, she is a woman in a business where I am sure the men would prefer her not exist.

SON Community - Major Software & Design Updates
I will have to figure it out, because it is completely different visually from what the source code option was. 🫠 Feels like the definition of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Kudos to @Errol for this. IP5 is actually quite beautiful and very seamless. The board feels faster, and I will certainly have to adjust to how some things are visually. But overall, amazing! However, does "Source code" not exist on IP5? Is it now "Inline code"? 862? I would simply be triggered seeing that every single time I logged in.

2025: The Directors and Writers Thread
I would take her back as executive producer immediately (although, I do feel like Sally McDonald is doing well as co-executive producer). Josh Griffith as head writer is the most troublesome, but demos and ratings are solid, and that is what the suits look at for this soap, so unless a major slump happens, no changes will come. Plus, under Phelps, we did win Outstanding Drama Series twice (2014/2015) after a seven-year spell of not winning. But right now, I do believe where she is is right where she belongs, and I feel like she's happy being where she is.

date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 | Ron Carlivati, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Michael V. Pomarico Not Dana letting Vernon know that she is aware of his presence at the Bowman. No bueno. She cannot handle keeping things to herself for a period of time. Spoilt bitch, no offence, but I cannot stand you. You are getting everything you deserve. I like that Ted is not willing to take sides in Eva's battle with her sister. That is smart. As much of a problem as I have had with Martin since day one, I appreciate him seeing Eva as she is: his sister. So refreshing. Not Anita overhearing Dana and Vernon's conversation. How unfortunate. I love how happy Martin is for Eva. That is what a sibling does! And speak on it: the spoilt bitch needs to shut her trap before someone (Eva) shuts it for her. Aw, how cute is it that Andre and Dani are re-exchanging vows? Just a shame it will not last when Dani goes back to Bill and Andre goes to Ashley. And he said the four-letter word! Eva and Martin's banter is so cute; I love that she offered to talk to Samantha, whom she formed a bond with at one point in time doing her hair. And her face when the spoilt bitch made her presence known is how I feel whenever she shows up, opens her mouth, and acts like she is God's gift to the DMV. "Well, not anymore," get her, Eva. GET HER! Yesssssss. Anita has a vivid imagination? Ooh-la-wee! Anita, let us in on it. Please. Why do I feel like Dana is not talking to Ted about Peaches but about what Vernon is [supposedly] doing with Sharon? Hmm. Wow... I am surprised. It IS about Peaches. Colour me surprised. Ooh! I am so happy that Martin overheard the spoilt bitch wish Dana had "gotten rid" of Eva. Let her have it, sir! DO IT! Notes: Right when I thought I would catch a break after writer2 yesterday, today we are stuck with the writer. At least, like Danielle Paige yesterday, we have one of this soap's best scriptwriters (Brown) writing. I am sorry, but this soap's take on half-siblings or even step-siblings is very off-putting, as if they are less than full-blooded siblings, when in reality they are as special and important. The food at Uptown definitely rivals Orphey Gene's; it does look absolutely delicious and comforting. Sean Freeman (Andre) showed up today with the emotional pull. I knew he had it in him, and it is beautiful to see at the hands of Brown's scripted words.- GH: November 2025 Discussion Thread

Bradley Bell doing everything in his power to avoid using the word "rape" is disgusting. And despite this, Crew Morrow and Lisa Yamada are doing good work. Both deserve better than this bullshït excuse of a "soap".- Y&R: November 2025 Discussion Thread
I'm honestly surprised Nikki and Victor have not divorced yet... maybe their brief opening of the marriage did something for them. 🤣- Y&R: November 2025 Discussion Thread
I agree; I just wish we'd actually gotten a chance to see a modern Jack/Nikki pairing. It would have been my dream come true, especially since we got Ashley/Victor.- DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread

Omg totally, and we need to see her breasts out... maybe with Ciara, and we can talk nonstop about it... images and all! 🤣- BTG: November 2025 Discussion Thread
date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?- GH: November 2025 Discussion Thread

I agree. She said, "I do," and then decided, "I don't." I wish Nikki Abbott had been a longer duration. I wholly prefer Nikki with Jack than I ever have with Victor, and today's episode proved that. And I never minded Ashley with Victor.- Y&R: November 2025 Discussion Thread
Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.- DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
