Same; for the first time since we had new names for All My Children for TOLN's production! I'm more so concerned about Disney-ABC than Mulcahey, because Mulcahey is known for not being a "yes" man, and while he admits he was too harsh at times, it does make me wonder what he's about to bring forward. I know Josh Griffith did it when he came back in 2019, and he wrote into Mal Young's scripts. And while i'd love an immediate change with Mulcahey, I'm also being realistic in assuming it'll take some bit of time for things to be "fixed" so-to-speak. Yes, the interim team during the WGA Strike really hit the ground running but they were just continuing what they were handed. I'm also curious how he'll handle new characters (not that we need them), and re-focus things on the canvas. So many options. So many avenues. I'm just hoping he's given the ability to do what we know he can, because you don't hire THE Patrick Mulcahey and not allow him to do his thing. I REMEMBER THOSE SCENES! Oh gosh. I really hope Mulcahey is able to bring some of that, even if not as extensively, into 2024. Give is depth. I do believe there is a way of giving audiences "yesterday," while maintaining "today" and "tomorrow" in terms of what should be brought... if that makes sense?

Yeah. That'd be my guess, and also hoping Mulcahey may be able to sneak into Van Etten & O'Connor's scripts and tweak things before his material fully begins to air. That would be golden!

I can almost guarantee once you watch flashback week you'll be sucked in. Or, at least, I hope so. Flashback week really propelled stories and the way things moved.

Question: Are we thinking Patrick Mulcahey & Elizabeth Korte will pick up stories where they currently stand, or will be provide a Days of Our Lives 2011 "reboot" style? 🤨

Hate to say it but Holly seems to jump sides to what suits her. She and Alyssa did Grey's Anatomy at a time when, publicly, Holly didn't seem to associate with Shannen. And then she went to Rose and began smack-talking about Alyssa (via Rose). It's really leaving a bad taste in my mouth re: Holly.

Someone should tell him that.

I said it, too. If he could master the accent (not entirely necessary) then Adam J. Harrington would've been an ACE to play Jax. I think if Robin were on the canvas I'd be a bit more excited to see Jagger but... yeah, this just... I don't know. Feels like talks with Ted King fell through so they went to a random plan.
