  1. Apparently she told few that she was ill and continued working all the way through. The news came as a surprise to most. ^ (Dave Blass is the Production Designer for Star Trek Picard)

  3. Brandaon Barash and Isabella planned to get married in December. Then they changed their minds and got married (legally) shortly after they got engaged in the summer. They had second wedding in December as a formal occasion for everyone to attend. Kirsten Storms (formerly Belle on Days, now Maxie on GH) and Brandon Barash were briefly together when he was playing Johnny on GH. They have a daughter named Harper (who is now 9) and have coparented together ever since. Kirsten said a couple of months ago that she and Brandon were friends and tried a romance but it didn't work but they've remained friends all these years. Isabella was a camp counselor at a camp Harper attended. Harper loved her and bonded with her first. Brandon met her as "Harper's camp counselor". So they met as adults who both cared about Harper. I know Brandon is a lot older but Harper met Isa first. The story is that Harper kept begging them to date and get married. I saw an instagram post from Kirsten Storms indicating her approval. When BB proposed to Isabella, he gave her a diamond ring and he gave Harper diamond earrings, because they are a family together. They knew each other for a while before they began dating. They dated for 2 or 3 years before he proposed. Her parents were there to assist with the surprise proposal. So after reading the entire story, my personal opinion is that it wasn't what I had assumed at first. But of course I don't know anyone personally so I actually know nothing.
  4. RIP Annie Wersching, she passed away today January 29, 2023 from cancer at age 45. She played the Borg Queen for Star Trek Picard. She also appeared in one episode of Star Trek Enterprise as a different character, who was a young woman colonist. She was known for many other memorable roles on TV shows. https://www.startrek.com/news/remembering-annie-wersching-1977-2023 This is/was her pinned tweet, so sad, so beautiful:
  5. Oh wait. this was just released a few minutes ago... 7. @AdelaideCate007 Are you suggesting/hoping we might see Beverly go all Anna Devane? That would be awesome!
  8. Oh wow, I didn't catch that the first time. Very cool! By the way, the clip was from the AMC episode of July 1, 2004. With Tanisha Lynn as Danielle Frye.
  9. I know her only from Picard and Timeless. She was an amazing talent. She could play evil characters but somehow give them nuance. This was her pinned tweet 😪
  10. I appreciate the need to log in to view the above video, in that a graphic beating of a man, a real human being, is beings discussed. However some people might not care to log into youtube. Here is some of the info being discussed: Although this was a beating of a black man, Mr. Tyre Nichols, by black policemen, this "Black Lives Matter" is still the right thread to discuss it. Because the entire history of policing in USA is based on the history of those who were hired to chase after and catch people who were trying to escape from human slavery, when the the escaped enslaved persons were viewed as the criminals, and not the slaveholders. So changes to the very structure of policing in the USA are essential. The beating happened in Memphis Jan. 7. The family of Mr. Nichols was shown the video Jan. 23 (Some family viewed it but his mother cannot bear to.) All the video footage was released to the public for transparency on Jan. 27. Full timeline of what happened BEFORE the video was released to the public (no images or video within this article) https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/a-timeline-of-events-in-the-death-of-tyre-nichols/ This is a typed description of what happened in the horrific beating of Mr. Nichols by the Memphis police. https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/nation/memphis-braces-for-release-of-video-in-tyre-nichols-arrest/ WARNING -- BEFORE READING THAT... One of the features within that article is a two minute excerpt from the full video. DO NOT CLICK TO VIEW unless you are SAFE. WARNING - it starts playing as soon as you click on the video, it's very graphic and I suggest watching only if you have a trusted loved one to support you. Have someone to call after you watch, or watch with someone safe. Otherwise, just trust that it's awful and don't watch. And just read description within the article. That was horrific enough for me, to simply read the description. The police department released one hour of footage, most news outlets are showing only a few minutes of it, it's so horrific. This beating was captured by the body cams of the policemen doing it, and also by the camera on a nearby light pole. NOTE: all five of the city police officers actively beating him were black, as was the the victim Mr. Nichols. The five city policemen were fired. There were also reports one or two sheriffs standing by watching and not helping, of whom at least one was white. Almost everyone was fired or is under investigation. I could bring myself to read the details only once. Too painful to read more than once. Edit, later reports said two sheriffs and two firefighters were also fired or removed from duty. This is a good article, about Mr. Tyre Nichols. Who he was as a man, a human being of dignity. https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/nation/tyre-nichols-remembered-as-beautiful-soul-with-creative-eye/ Statement from Memphis Chief of Police Cerelyn Davis who is a Black woman: The video shows acts that are heinous an inhumane. "This is not just a professional failing, this is a failing of basic humanity" She fully expects everyone to demand change. She full expects everyone to exercise their First Amendment rights to protest. And she says, "Aside from being your Chief of Police, I am a citizen of the community we share, I am a mother, I am a caring human being who wants the best for all of us." Note: Chief Davis made this video a few days ago, after the main five cops were fired, but before additional people were fired or removed from duty. --------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------ The full video footage is on the City of Memphis vimeo account. Four separate videos, a total of more than an hour of footage. (This is so bad that most news outlets are posting only two or three minutes of it.) Do not watch unless you are safe. Have someone you can be with or call. Perhaps watch with a support group. >click for link: City of Memphis vimeo page for all the police beating footage< ---------------------------------------------------
  11. FYI the above clip of Reggie and Danielle was from the July 1, 2004 episode. http://tvmegasite.net/transcripts/amc/older/2004/amc-trans-07-01-04.shtml
  12. Michael B. Jordan!
  13. Michael B Jordan hosts SNL. Shows a clip from AMC during his monologue
  14. The actual clip is shown clearer here: I also posted it on the AMC thread here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/40179-amc-tribute-thread/?do=findComment&comment=1834683
  15. Fyi, there's also a thread for that cast photo, and also the individual actors' pics for the 50th: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/62226-yr-50th-anniversary-cast-photo
  16. Michael B. Jordan hosting Saturday Night Live, Jan.28, 2023. In his opening monologue. he says he started on AMC in 2003 which is true. He says they pretaped one of the scenes airing on SNL tonight (i.e. a scene that was not live) ... and he said it was in the same place where he filmed All My Children. SNL is filmed at Studio 8H of 30 Rockefeller Center. AMC was filmed at 320 West 66th St. Does he mean one of the SNL sketches was filmed in a location that was in the same location where an AMC scene was filmed? (perhaps outdoors in New York somewhere?) I'm confused. They played one AMC clip during his monologue. Isn't that Reggie and Danielle? So this clip would have been from 2004, 2005, or 2006. right?
  17. The whole Tracey Bregman 40th episode was in the GP lobby. (and yeah I know you were snarking about all the restaurants used as meeting places, LOL)
  18. Yeah I know, when Ava was very pregnant with Avery, Nina kidnapped her and did something horrific to force her into labor and then stole the baby. It was like something from ancient myths and very creepy.
  19. Tracy on Locher was really good. (He did surprisingly well). He asked good questions, apparently some questions were from the viewers, but I think he was also prepared. I know Alan has a reputation for doing dumb interviews, so this one pleasantly surprised me. Tracey told a few stories I hadn't heard before. I really enjoyed it.
