DAYS: Three Exits Ahead!
On the official Days youtube channel, they had various actors doing vids of their favorite Christmas/Hanukkah traditions from their own families (the actors, not the characters). They also did the same for New Years traditions of the actors. Christopher Sean did one, and Colton Little did one. The Day of Days promo shows that the Bo/Hope/HarrisMichaels/Megan/Ciara storyline will pick up on the main show where it left off after Beyond Salem 2. My understanding is that all that begins in March. Since Paul Narita and Andrew Donovan were part of BS2, and the actors were in those holiday vids, I assume (or at least hope) Paul and Andrew appear on the main show in March or soon thereafter?

DAYS: brand-new character (sibling of current character)
I love the idea of Jada as Marcus' daughter, but I hate how bland they've written her. As discussed on another thread a couple of months ago, the show didn't have Lani anymore so they cast another Black female cop and then made her Marcus' daughter as a way to tie her to the canvas. But it was "checking the boxes" casting with no character development. Such a shame because Marcus was a great character and Elia Cantu can act.

DAYS: brand-new character (sibling of current character)
On-set party for the 57th anniversary, in November 2022: Zooming in on actress in front row: This is actress Aketra "Keke" Sevillian. Jason47 confirmed that it's her back in November on his facebook: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02BGQGPZf8P2bDMnrRQvjggqZA79jdbJ7MaheCXx2GTSJKbxfXX6VLSsmUeMiNHi8vl&id=100063892362234 Aketra "Keke" Sevillian https://www.instagram.com/aketra.sevillian In the Days February Sweeps article and SOD casting, they said Aketra "Keke" Sevillian is playing Jada Hunter's younger sister Talia Hunter, also daughter of Marcus. Talia has a medical degree, but applies for a job at the bakery. There is a small mystery about this. In her IG post dated Oct. 24, Aketra "Keke" Sevillian said she'd just completed a month of filming at "a show". This post contains a batch of pics at the Days studio: https://www.instagram.com/p/CkHHf7Dy2ax

DAYS: Three Exits Ahead!
Basically SOD is reporting stuff we already knew or guessed, as if it were new, but just basically confirms things. And then other sites are creating articles to quote SOD. SOD says Will leaves for New Zealand week of 13 February. What did we already know: Will said that in the hospital chapel during Marlena "dying" that he got a job offer in NZ. SOD says Zach is leaving Days but doesn't give a date. What did we already know: Zach mentioned a a fan event quite a while back that he's leaving. Zach is on recurring on Days and has been appearing on Fire Country. SOD says Lindsay Arnold has wrapped taping at Days but gives no final exit airdate. Which we already guessed... since she's been on recurring for a while and hasn't posted from the set for a while, except for the show's Christmas party. She's been posting on her tiktok for a while that she's going to auditions. We also knew this about all three characters: The TV listings (episode descriptions/spoilers) for Thurs. Feb. 16: "Will is set to leave town, but Sonny has a surprise for him. Allie makes a life-changing decision." Since SOD says only that Lindsay has wrapped, maybe she continues airing for quite a while, but the episode description hints that it's coming very soon. Maybe her "life-changing decision" is about changing careers, but I doubt it.

Star Trek: Picard
Thanks for the heads up that it's good! Yay! And for the "no spoilers!". I'm really excited about Season 3! I'm so glad you posted! _______________ The US premiere on Paramount Plus is Thursday Feb. 16 in the very early morning. (Or late night Wed. Feb. 15 in western USA). And that's only the first episode. Episode 2 drops Thurs Feb. 23. I just checked the trek forum https://www.trekbbs.com and I see that several cities around the world just held or will hold soon special press screenings of the first two episodes as you got to see. Los Angeles at the Chinese Theater on Feb. 9. New York at the 92nd Street Y on Feb. 13. Usually the first two episodes of a season are shown to very few, and when they do that, they show them both during the same week as the first episode being released to the public. This seems unusual to me that the first two episodes would be released this early. I guess they really want the hype! Thanks especially for the warning that the press will be blabbing early. I'll avoid mainstream press reviews and twitter discussions about Picard for now. I'll stick to trekbbs for the next two weeks because they are strict about which are spoiler threads and which are not, and you can choose which to read. Once I've seen the first two episodes online, then I might read mainstream press and twitter. I really appreciate the warning! I know who is in it, and I've watched the trailers, so I have some clues, but I really like that I have no idea what happens. It will be fun! P.S. I'm not going to tell anyone what to post or not post about Picard spoilers. I don't think there's any rules about spoilers on these threads, so post what you want. I can choose to read or not read.

It's bad enough that Leo is written as sexually harassing every man that moves. Now the dialog is that he was inappropriate in high school, too. And it's played for laughs. I'm so tired of sexual harassers in soaps, to/from any gender. I'm also pissed that People mag put GH's Luke and Laura on the cover today. Just tired of all of that for all characters on all soaps.

WTF is this dialog? Today (Thurs 9 Feb), Leo and Gwen are discussing her disappointment with Xander. Leo - "Tis better to have loved and lost… something… something. Shakespeare said that." Gwen - "Actually Tennyson said that, but I appreciate your efforts." Leo - "Really?" Gwen - "Mmm." Leo - "Huh, and I was a theater queen in high school. I guess I was too distracted trying to turn all the boys who didn't know they were gay yet." Script by David Kreizman.- Days: February 2023 Discussion Thread
Ah. your explanation makes much more sense than mine. Thanks! It never occurred to me that two bedrooms would have an door directly between them that could be used without using the hallway, AND also both have doors to the hallway. But why not?- Days: February 2023 Discussion Thread
Allie's apartment has two bedrooms. Allie seems to have the master bedroom (which she shared with Chanel) and there is Henry's bedroom. The "office" is apparently an alcove or large closet type area off of Allie's bedroom - they didn't say that specifically but Alex and Allie emerged together from Allie's room, so that's how I interpreted it - either the office is an alcove off the master bedroom, or it's a tiny room off the master bedroom. Whatever the office is, it seems to be accessible only via the master bedroom. The office has never been mentioned before last week. It wasn't mentioned when it was Eric and Nicole's apartment. I'm just assuming that the office is a part of the master bedroom suite or an alcove of the master bedroom, because that's the only explanation of what we saw. If Alex had been in an entirely separate room, he would have emerged from that separate room, but he didn't. He emerged from Allie's room. Wendy has been sleeping on the couch since she first moved in. Johnny first asked Allie and Chanel if Wendy could stay there months ago, and the agreement back then was that Wendy would sleep on the couch. And Wendy was asleep on the couch the other day when Alex and Allie emerged from the master bedroom.- DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos

I don't like Tripp. I hate that other characters say he's great. I know a lot of you like him but I don't. We all have different opinions, and I'm stating mine. Victoria Grace seems like a good actress. I really hate that they are wasting Wendy as a talk-to. I'd ask for Wendy to be given something exciting to do, but Carlivati would probably ruin her. So weird to see McCarthy in what I've come to think of Pelosi's chair on the dais.- The Politics Thread
Biden's speech had an interesting strategy. He started off with a lot of older more conventional Democrat values of the working class and labor unions and working families, social security, medicare, and the cost of prescriptions, etc. He outlined all the bills that have been passed so far in his administration. And the fact that unemployment is at 3.4% which is approximately a 50-year low. After talking about all that for quite a long time, to get middle America listening, then he finally started talking about abortion rights, trans rights, climate change, and transforming policing. I think all of that is dear to his heart and he usually talks about a lot of that right away. But there was a tough room tonight, so he chose (or his speechwriter chose) to ease into it.- The Politics Thread

World news ... 7.8 and 7.7 earthquakes near Turkey/Syria border (one in Turkey and one in Syria) and also large aftershocks, starting Monday Feb. 5 local time. Over 3,800 people have died (in both countries combined) and the death toll is rising rapidly. The World Health Organization says the death toll could possibly rise to as high as 20,000 people. By the time you read this post, the info will be out of date.- Days: February 2023 Discussion Thread

From @JAS0N47's average estimate of taping date to air date https://jason47.com/days/productionschedule.html Yeah we're starting to see stuff filmed around the time the Peacock switch was announced. But we also know that things are often filmed very much out of order. They film according to what sets are being used, what crew is on, what actors are available, and covid grouping guidelines. Special events like weddings/funerals/parties or explosions are filmed at special times offschedule when the set, actors, and special crew are available. The show uses the wiggle room to be a week, month, or two months earlier or later than the average production schedule when needed -- if you are talking strictly the taping-to-airdate gap. It was evident a couple of weeks ago when Nicole had a hairstyle change within an episode, and Will had a hairstyle change within an episode - obviously the taping dates of their scenes were not on the same day, and maybe not the same week or month. Some episodes were taped longer ago than the average tape/airdate gap, so they were already taped *before* the switch to Peacock. Some things were taped more recently than the average tape/airdate gap, so they would have been taped *after* the switch to Peacock. But most things follow the schedule, so a lot of what's starting to air now was filmed around the time of the switch to Peacock. Writing: As Errol said, they haven't started airing episodes *written* for Peacock yet - they are still airing episodes written for NBC. (Unless Ron made a small exception here and there, to write in a small change, which the show can rarely do). It used to be a two-month gap between writing date and taping date. Not sure what that writing-to-taping timegap is now. Editing: As we know: The episodes written for NBC were written to be 36 or 37 minutes long. They always planned it out in the script to be that length, but when filming, it would sometimes end up being longer or shorter than expected. They used to be required to cut scenes from a long episode to make an episode be 36 or 37 minutes long. And if the episode came out too short, they'd tape a filler scene or insert a flashback to make the total length be 36 or 37 minutes. Regardless of when taped, they still have several months between taping date and airdate, during which the editing process happens. So we've been seeing episodes *edited for Peacock* for a month or two now. Hence the variable length of episodes for a while now -- the exact number of minutes have already been discussed in detail and I won't repeat. The rooftop greenscreen was filmed at L.A. Castle Studios, and aired Jan. 20 and 23. From Jason's *average* https://jason47.com/days/productionschedule.html ... If following that average, Jan 20-23 would have been filmed the first week of August ... but as I said in an earlier paragraph, that's only an average, and things are filmed out of order depending on sets, personnel, crew, etc. Obviously the rooftop scene was filmed later than what's in the average tape/airdate gap ... it must have been filmed after DAYS knew they were switching to Peacock and had the money for it. We aren't seeing stuff written for Peacock yet, except obviously the rooftop scene would've been written for Peacock. Or maybe the rooftop scene was written differently for NBC and then changed/enhanced for Peacock.- Days: February 2023 Discussion Thread
Ah. I just looked at tvseasonspoilers.com again, and at the bottom of the page it says "designed by Winacle". The winacle.net website lists tvseasonspoilers.com as one of their brands.
