I don't know anything for sure, but in my opinion (but I could be wrong) ...
that staffperson from that site simply made up those theories without knowing anything at all. (Well he did say they were theories and not facts.) You can tell he didn't know much because his first sentence is "Well, two incidents happened this week to make it clear that any hopes that this afterlife stuff is the result of some sort of kidnapping or mind control, or virtual reality were dead."
He posted that Friday morning, several hours before the promo came out.
The promo reveals that this *is* a kidnapping and the ladies are not dead, and they are cryogenically frozen, and everything they are experiencing seems to be simply within their minds. Obviously the kidnapper is trying to control their minds because they are having a shared delusion.
We don't know *why* the kidnapper is doing this. Presumably it's Megan. She could try to clone people because anything's possible -- but it's just my opinion that I don't think so this time. But what do I know?
I definitely don't think the time jump theory is true.
Carlivati is writing stupid stuff so I can understand why people would try to create theories to explain his nonsense.
Thank you for posting. It's all nonsense, so why not toss around theories about the nonsense?
