He is. An unflattering photo for a lovely man. I love that theme, but any time I listen too many times I'm reminded of how terrible the lyrics are.

ALL: Bad Moves by Well Regarded Soap Writers/EPs
I think it was meant to be an urban-based, blue-collar soap.

IIRC Malone talked about how much Luna meant to him personally and was tied to his background or women he knew.

Knots Landing
I see your point, although I feel like even some of that started to seem frozen. If they had gotten one more season, I think they would have had a new look (maybe Karen with a chic bob). I think the approach with Val helping that girl learn to read and moving back to the cul-de-sac was a potential way forward, just expanded (they could have done more with Mac as a foster father after he saved Jason - this might have caused tension with Karen if she thought he was forgetting about Meg). I enjoyed the business material, but it was definitely time to move into a new era. Ideally, they could have found way to make the early Melrose and 90210 approach click for them (it would have helped if they hadn't dismantled their younger set).

Knots Landing
I would agree up to the last two seasons. Those start to feel very dated to me. It hits right when Karen accidentally kills the paintballer and his Grapes of Wrath-esque family descend. Then Tidal Energy...

A New Day in Eden
Thanks so much @duane . Never seen that. Good quality scan too. I find it hilarious that just about all I really know for sure with Loving Friends is it's the show where Paul Hecht got ass.

ARTICLE: CBS to Air Repeats of ‘The Price is Right’ Between ‘The Talk’ Series Finale and Premiere of ‘Beyond the Gates’
It's a bad way to promote any interest in BtG. There's a good chance the repeats will get better ratings than the start of BtG at this point.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
I know some fans also felt it was down to how John Clarke had aged. Sometimes I am surprised they stayed on the show as long as they did. JER in particular seemed to have no interest in Maggie, even though she's proven since that she really will commit, no matter how awful the material.

I hadn't heard about Jeanne moving to ATWT. I imagine she would have gotten involved in some of the business stories - maybe part of the Grimaldi entourage? Either that or tied to Neal and Royce. (imagine her as Orlena)

I think it had already been done better with Jill, but I see your point. His death aftermath was poor. I also would have recast Jack over immediately killing John. Bergman's best was gone.

As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I don't want to spam a video everywhere so I'll just say that I put a video in the Love is a Many Splendored Thing thread that I think has Rita Walter at around 27 minutes.

Love Is a Many Splendored Thing
Posting here as this is closer to the right timeframe...is the Ivory ad with Beverlee McKinsey at the start of this video already well known? I can't remember if I've seen it before.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
Most of Dennis Parker's porn was with women. I do think he had believable chemistry with women, like Raven, but I am still surprised he managed to be cast. I guess the porno chic era helped.

Matlock Reboot with Kathy Bates
If I just look at Jason Ritter quickly, he doesn't remind me very much of his father, but then sometimes he really does.

I think killing off John hurt more because Ashley and Jack were both so depleted as characters by that point - the character himself had been treading water for years.

GH: December 2024 Discussion Thread
I do think the moment where she went out of her way to hurt Molly after Molly wanted to move on from the trial was one where they clearly wrote her as being in the wrong rather than just provoked, misunderstood, etc. But I don't know whether or not they will follow through. She really is the new Sonny in being nasty to move the plot along but they don't want to properly call her out.

As The World Turns Discussion Thread
They make it more difficult to watch as they just put it up in blocks with no dates given, but still, I'm grateful to get to see the material. The most interesting part of his run was the hints surrounding Bob, John, and Kim (and the suggestion of bringing Penny back).

Based on the history of her family, she will likely be killed offcamera in a year so that Sam and Lydia can raise the baby.
