Last week was when Brad said is final goodbye and that was one of the best episodes on ATWT. I hope that it was enough to push up the ratings for ATWT.

Me too. That was a very good episode. One of the best of 2009. I hope ATWT goes way up to 3rd or 4th place

If ATWT can get up to #4, the show might just have the chance of getting picked up elsewhere. I doubt this will happen and will settle for number 5 and 6th in demos

I agree it will prolly settle for number 5 or 6th again. I just hope i'm wrong and it beat AMC. AMC is ok now, but the writing is still on the wall. I read somewhere that Kelly Ripa said the same thing with AMC when she returned to work there.

I have high hopes for World Turns as well, but the Christmas week is odd . . . I think they only count three days . . . not sure.

I'm not sure either. They might count Christmas Eve but that won't be fair to the ABC soaps. They won't count Christmas day because only ATWT and DAYS were they only ones new and they never counted that day before. I just hope that if ATWT Christmas Eve show had the highest of the week then I hope they count it, but they prolly won't.

I don't really think other places (like Lifetime or whatever) are looking to see if it moves up in ranking during some of its final year or not to pick it up--surely they realize a couple thousand viewers isn't a big diff (I mean this with all good will--I HOPE it gets picked up somewhere, I just don';tthink these tiny changes in ratings means much to people not connected to the big three networks)

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day are Nielsen holidays. They weren't counted last year. Isn't it unusual for a soap to air an original episode on a traditional Nielsen holiday?

But, GH is still 2 in both women 18-49 demos, so that means its safe does it not?
