Time for some positive spin!

Guiding Light went up in all the demo categories (except for an 8,000 loss in males). The only thing otherwise that didn't go up is the all-important household number.

As for all of daytime as a whole, well, you know what they say...

"April showers bring May flowers!" :) :) :)

That's it! I've had enough!!!!!! I want DK fired from GL. EW gets the boot to if she tries to salvage his job. Conboy never brought these pathetic ratings in. I'm starting a petition to reinstate Jon Conboy as Executive Producer minus Ellen Weston. Then another petition to get rid of DK and steal Hogan Sheffer from ATWT as head writer. I know PGP sees this and they can't be that stupid not to take action and get rid of this hack for bringing GL into the wading waters of Passions territory. Oooooooooooh I'm heated! Anymore bad news and DK has to step down as HW just to spare his life from pissed off GL fans.

David Kreizman....Your Goin Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I agree that April has been a slow month for Days (typically is except for the reunions last year) but alot has happened. I mean I think we all got spoiled by the first three months of 2006 where big events took place almost every week (Zack's accident and death, everyone learning who really killed Zack, the funeral, Calliope, Lois's death, Shimi's wedding, Alex/Marlena wedding, etc). Days took this month to build the stories for May and summer and if you had action all the time they would run out of ideas. I like all the character interactions we have been getting and I am happy Days is being realistic and not rushing Bope's divorced and such. It wouldn't make sense if they did and, while repetitive, I want to see them anguish over the idea of separating. I mean look at what has happened this month:

-Lexie found out she may have cancer and wants to come clean and now you have the Sami/Alex plot

-Bope talked divorce and Hope actually filed for it

-Patrick's past was discovered bringing him closer to Hope

-The sewer twist made Chelsea change which is needed to redeem her a bit and seems to be making Kate the manipulator in this. It also brought Bollie closer and Hotrick too.

-Jen/Frankie made love.

-Carrie/Lucas and Austin/Sami had sex

-Marlena/Alex got married and the story is now building towards its climax.

-The tension between Mimi and Belle grew.

On top of all this there has been great character interactions and some good drama and emotion. Nothing close to what we were getting but its still been watchable and consistently good. This week has been an improvement and next week and beyond will be great. The slow period is over now everyone-time to come back and watch all the time!!! :D

3.5 million tuned in for the big face to face with Tad and Dixie on AMC, hopefully they build on that with thwe Monday. Overall considering the landscape a very impressive week for AMC and ABC..... at least they haven't lost anything on last year. But no gains either :(
