Glad I'm not the only one who does this. I have a research paper draft that's due tomorrow, haven't even started. Instead I've been watching old Quartermaine clips on Youtube! I think this is a sign we're ready for the semester to be out and for more Q's on our TV screens LOL.

I hope so. I've kind og enjoyed the TV though. It has this built in VHS player which has FINALLY given me the opportunity to watch some of the VHS' I've been meaning to watch.

Also, thanks again for the clips TracyQ

Is there any chance you could do the 10,000th episode sometime soon too? I know you already did it for me, but I lost it in the crash.

I'm sorry to bother you. :( Don't worry about it if your too busy. I know college/university can be a doozy!

This weekend I have been reading various message boards to see how people feel about this story, and there are some people who still honestly believe that Luke doesn't love Tracy. It is kind of sad, really. I mean how much more proof do they need? One of my favorite LuNacy scenes was in 2009 when Holly left town. Tracy thought he was leaving with her. He grabbed her arm and told her, "I am not leaving you for Holly; I am not leaving you for ANYBODY." I loved that scene so much because TG delivered it so passionately. These people are L&L fans living in denial. Don't they realize Laura is included in "anybody"? Well, that is my rant for the day. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Oh Linney I know how you feel

Those Luke and Laura people comment on my video, send me messages and keep trying to tell me that Laura is Luke's only love. REALLY? Did they not watch the wedding? Was that not enough for them? Luke has moved on - they need to as well. Even if Laura did come back I doubt that Luke would leave Tracy.

Those L 'n' L people get me so mad.

LinnieRose I have had to stop going on those message boards because of that. If Luke wanted to be with Laura he would have gone to Paris or where ever she is and be with her. I'm over them worrying me about it. I get to see Lunacy and they have to watch youtube clips of the past to get their fix. So I say let them have their fantasy but they won't ruin my joy of Lunacy in the process.

That's a great point, Funny. It mostly amuses me, though. You kind of just shake your head at it and move along. I guess there are always going to be fans who feel that way, regardless.

It is so pathetic that people feel the need to leave such negative comments on your videos, TQ. I didn't realize they send you messages as well. Do you respond or ignore them?

Thank you so so much TracyQ :)

I have to say...In the past, I was a HUGE LnL fan. They were the love everybody hoped to have. But I accept that the time has past. Genie left the show, and so obviously they had to go in a new direction. And guess what...It WORKED! I fully believe Luke and Tracy are in love with each other, and I love them together. So, in my heart, there is room to remember LnL fondly, and embrace the love that is LuNacy :)

Just my two cents.

Deck chairs on the Titanic, TQ - a total waste of their energy and won't change a thing. Just ignore them - they have nothing. The entire gaggle of hardliners seems to be under the mistaken impression that they are "due". For what, I can't imagine. It's quite irrational to me and totally fails to appreciate that actors want new things to do as well as new people to work with AND this is continuing drama, not sticking-with-one-story-and-rehashing-it drama. Bitter Bettys most of them - not worth your effort.

I've seen on some YT videos that the originator is allowed to assess if the comments will be posted or not. You might want to up your security so not just any Tom, Dick or Harry can post after your vids.

Hi all.

TracyQ, I really enjoyed the Teenage Dream video. Nice job.

Been enjoying the Jake/Joselyn story.

Glad that Tracy is on this week.

Edit: Jane Elliot and other soap stars from June 1989 on a talk show called "Donahue."

There are 3 parts.

    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
    • I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes. Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.
    • I've already asked this before, recently, but can anyone who watched those years more closely tell me if anything said about Jessie and Simon at the end of their profiles is accurate (about them marrying, naming a baby after Brandon/Lujack, etc.)?
    • Nicole is way too smart to not know she was carrying twins - she's a doctor! My guess is that Leslie did abort her baby out of fear, and as payback, stole Ted and Nicole's child (Eva), and stole Kat from another family to replace her in the hospital.
    • Those Soap Central profiles have a lot of incorrect info. According to SOD summaries and the Daytime Newsletter of the time,Tim left town for a new job and Pam reunited with the father of her baby and also departed Springfield. They did not marry.
    • Do we believe that Jabot is at the level of Estee Lauder?? I am on board with Jabot deciding to expand but the way it was handled was ridiculous. Jabot just decided and bingo, that was that. Not months of negotiations and decisions about how it would fit into the Jabot portfolio. And then no follow through. Josh thinks he's serving business stories by characters sitting around and discussing mergers, takeovers and job switching. Now we have Audra setting up her own company -Vibrator or something. Well, why not? You don't need staff, office space or even products.
