Ms. Q tip-toes in...

Hi. I bring spoilers before I go to bed...

After the hostage crisis...

Courtesy of SoapKing. Week of Feb. 19th: Luke decides it's time that he acts like a real father to his daughter. Tracy will hold Luke to his promise to be the father Lulu needs. His first challenge? Spinelli, Dillon and Milo wanting Lulu. Tracy is surprised that Luke doesn't want to interfere in Lulu's love life. Scotty questions Lulu about Laura's return. Tracy warns Lulu not to trust Scotty. Lulu has a feeling Scotty knows more than he's saying about Rick's murder.

Yay! LuNacy spoilers! And if Tracy's warning Lulu not to trust Scotty, could LuNacy team up against him after all? And kind of unrelated, but this "promise" spoiler reminds me of last Feb. when Luke was going to make sure Tracy kept her promise. Now, it's the other way around...

Crap spoiler: Thursday, 03/01 - Jason struggles with the guilt he feels about Alan.

Um, Jason? Die. Please. You want to grieve? Fine. But it better be no longer than 2 minutes, and then the focus better be on the actual Quartermaines. The ones that loved Alan and treated him as FAMILY. Gah. I hate this. Oh, there's also a spoiler about Alan waking up and feeling bad about the choices he made with Jason. I can't remember if it was from a reliable source or not, but if true? UGH. And, we better get conscious good-byes with the Quartermaines that matter.

Edit: Page 247!

I want to see Monica-Tracy kick Skye to the curb. I really do. I mean, seriously, the Quartermaines protected her against Alcazar, and this is how it turns out? This is the way she goes?

Tracy was right. The woman is no Quartermaine, and never will be. FINALLY, Edward is going to banish someone who really deserves it.

ETA: My new avatar. :) "Lust Trigger" is stolen from Desperate Housewives. Bree's AA sponsor was also a member of Sexaholics Anonymous, and his sponsor (his SA sponsor) referred to Bree as a "Lust Trigger." :) Made me think of TQ. (Yeah, I made the Bree Van de Kamp Lust Trigger icon, too. But that belongs to Fey.)

Hey thanks for the new spoilers Ms.Q, now lets see just how good of a job Luke does with his little girl. I'm guessing that these spoilers are before Alan dies because Lulu has a ONS with that nu-guy Logan, right?

I also had a question does anybody know when the "in real time" part of the show ends?

I can't wait either MarlandRulez!!!! This is going to be so much fun to watch!

Week of February 19th:

Ok. That fur isn't looking so good anymore, LOL. So far, I haven't had a big problem with it, but in this picture? Gah. And Squee! LuNacy at the hospital, and they both have on their wedding rings...Heh.

Love the avatar, MinervaFan!

I'm also looking forward to JE/LC/RC scenes!

nex, about real time...I think it stops as soon as the 16 hours are up and the hotel explodes, but I'm not sure.

Tracy should be on today! Yay!

Gawd, when Luke gets all grizzled and stuff, he totally reminds me of my dad. *rolls eyes* LOVE Tracy's body language. LMAO.

Guys, I will be in the Break Room tonight around 6-ish Eastern time, if anybody wants to chat.

BTW, a friend forwarded this to me, and it totally reminded me ot Tracy and Jane. (No offense to my female friends who are younger than 40.)

As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, “What are you thinking?” She doesn’t care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn’t want to watch the game, she doesn’t sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it’s usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle o fan expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won’t hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it’s like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They’ll tell you right off that you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don’t ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it’s not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”, here’s an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it’s not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.

I'll post more later, but no sign of TQ so far.

I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happened tomorrow...

Lucky: I thought I had you arrested.

Luke: My wife bailed me out.

I hope I'm wrong. :(

Edit: Woo! I AM wrong. I won't be able to watch the rest, but Tracy/Edward are at GH. She wants him to take his pills. He doesn't need this extra stress. Monica joins, asks where Luke is. Tracy says he's in jail 'cause he stole a SWAT jacket and helmet, LOL. She was going to bail him out, but it's safer for him and the rest of PC if he stays there. (I love Tracy, LOL). Meanwhile, Jason lurks. Tracy/Edward get into the elevator. Monica is like, "Oh my God, Jason! You are so awesome. I worship you! What are you going to do help Emily and Alan?"

Later, everyone!

Oh my gosh, I love that spinelli/luke/tracy pic. I am so wiped out. Going on a field trip with first graders and having to keep track of all these little boys ....whew I am ready for a nap! I will try to come in the breakroom today if I can. I have a meeting tonight.

Looking forward to watching today.

More on the pic--I love Tracy/JE. She is the only character on that show who (when stuck in a hospital waiting room for hours) actually *LOOKS* like she's been stuck in a hospital waiting room for hours. Lipstick? Gone. Hair? Flat. Make-up? Non-existent. Clothes? Rumpled.

Our girl is so REAL.

*hugs Tracy*

Can't wait to see the show tonight, and hopefully chat with some of you this evening.

Bummer only one tiny scene, but of course, she was great with her three or four lines! I thought she bails him out though...maybe tomorrow. Monica only had a couple lines today too! God it is so sad watching SD acting his heart attack...knowing it is only a matter of a week or so...boo hoo!

Way to get excited for nothing, Ms. Q. Whose dumb idea was it to give Jane Elliot 2.98 seconds of screentime today? Was there even a point? Why didn't she run into Skye? Will tomorrow be better? When is she going to bail Luke out of jail? Agh. So many questions, LOL.

And, love the "women over 40" thing, MinervaFan! :)

Attention SOC posters: Go vote for Jane Elliot in the Dankies. She, KMc, NL, and JMB are up for Best Supporting Actress. ;)

    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.

    • Ah! Good to hear. Isn't it especially odd to think that house fictionally exists not far from the Karrs?  Or, that it was designed non-fictionally by the same person who designed April's place?
    • Good to know I'm not the only one who noticed that. Strange and awkward, and I don't know what they're doing with those fades.   -- Finally, had to laugh at how many Emmys this board passed out today.

    • Not unless they live in an apartment complex.

    • That was bad. Product placement is fine, but not here, not now. Besides, no one carries their damn detergent to the living room.   Completely and utterly disagree. I thought Brandon Claybon was excellent today -- maybe his best performance since the show started. No recast needed.   Not unpopular with me. That didn't work. The montage was good, but 5 minutes of Amazing Grace? With all those verses? No. What kind of family breaks into a loud version of Amazing Grace after what just happened??? None. Anita's lecture to Leslie was great. Ending the show -- a really good episode with crackling dialogue -- like that was a mistake.
    • Today, was a fantastic episode. I loved everything about, including Ainta singing, Amazing Grace. I love the family dynamic of the Dupree's so much. They remind me of my own family at times. Martin & Smitty have come leaps and bounds from where they  started. I genuinely felt a connection between them I can't wait to watch it deepen. Dana/Leslie/Sherry/Ana is a piece of work. Her speech at the Dupree's about her "concern" for Eva and then locking her out of their apartment??? She is pure evil, but I love it. I can't wait to see where the Eva/Kat story goes. There's so much potential there. As for Ted, I need to see Keith Robinson in the role before giving my true critique of Maurice Johnson.
    • I don't recall that we ever saw the exterior of the Madison house.  BUT the interior is definitely Mission Revival.  It has a wrought-iron staircase, and all the doorways & corridors have archways.  I watched a few old episodes over the weekend from that period and really noticed for the first time how uniquely Mission Revival the set is.
    • I know Daphnee's back hurts, because she was carrying Maurice through those scenes! Still not loving the idea of replacing the actor, but he was giving very little.  Brandon's scenes with Leslie did not hit the way they were supposed to because I was busting out laughing.  One thing I enjoy about this soap is how it plays with the nuance of good and evil. Kat vs Eva and Anita vs Leslie. There are some things that Kat and Anita said that makes it hard to root for them and how the Duprees can be family over everything to a fault. It almost makes them come across as entitled and unlikely at times. And while what Lesile and Eva have done is wrong in different ways, you can see that hurt and sympathize.  Now, what I don't get is what Lesile thought she was doing expecting the Duprees to accept Eva with open arms. Honey, Eva is a Richardson not a Dupree. In the Dupree world, she's Ted's problem unless they choose otherwise, because there ain't a drop of Dupree blood coursing throught her veins (unless we learn otherwise in some twist). Ted is lucky if they don't disown his ass.
    • I think maybe viewers needed a break from Aaron Spelling by 1985 or 1986. He had a series, Macgruder and Loud, which I recall, even as a young teen, getting TONS of promotion with even a post-Super Bowl slot, and it failed. Viewers probably were - as said here - tired of soapy fare and went elsewhere. But they must have missed him since, as we know, Spelling rose from the TV ashes in the '90s with Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place!
    • I’ve been enjoying the pace the show has taken recently. Things don’t languish as long as they have and if they are drawing something out, like Gio’s adoption, it’s hasn’t been as excruciating. Also, my nosey nature would appreciate less interaction with posters I have on ignore so I don’t have to click on “options”.
