Unbelievable. Could the Brad Bell and writers be any LAZIER?

This bothers me so much, because it's the writers treating us like IDIOTS. If he used his own damn phone, there'd be no need to delete anything from Douglas'. Just more terrible writing done for convenience.

If popularity equaled quality, shows like TEON would've rated above, say, GH. It's also why popcorn movies/romantic comedies excel, while indie films scrape by, etc.

B&B's formula has worked for decades both in US + Internationally. It's likely an incredibly profitable show, which is really what show *business* is all about. Unless the Bell family decides to shut it down, it'll continue well past the remaining legacy soaps.

I was going to say that those Ridge/Bridge divorce scenes were great, but I see they have done this before. LITERALLY. But like I said earlier...if says something about how great their acting ability truly is that they could take that repetitive script and make it seem so fresh.

Le sigh. Thomas was so turning a corner and now he's back to THIS?? I didn't think he was too harsh with Douglas, but it's just a matter of time before someone finds out what he did. Nice to see Donna rowed into it. Could she find out?

It's been nice seeing Katie. But I'll take Heather Tom any way I can.

That's funny because they're all rich, but none of them seem to have pre-nups, there's no distribution of property, and none of the men seem to need to pay child support.  It's such a natural source of conflict to have Eric and Ridge face financial stress due to their multiple divorces, and Katie could own tons of Spencer stock given how often she's been on and off with Bill.

I know annulments are not necessarily only about religion, but the choice to annul rather than divorce seems suss.

Brooke should have brought about a divorce from hell for Ridge. She could have gone after Forrester stock in a way that she takes over. He either lets her have Forrester or he gets to be with Taylor.  This kind of drama would have been so much more fun to watch. Especially when Ridge finds out Brooke never made the phone call to begin with. Thomas would have caused his father to almost lose the family's company over Thomas's pettiness.

WOW LMAO, Even The Soundtrack is virtually the same! Thomas Has [!@#$%^&*] down his sleeve again, and again that Kid of His seems to be About to expose him, Now A Nice Twist would be the law People holding he The Anullment process because of the frequence they file it lol

She Seems a lot fresher and interesting than Hunter did on her last tenure, the character also seems far less pathetic than they made Hunter's Taylor in the past decade!

    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
