I miss it too but I can see certain posters posting their pity party posts. I use to like putting birthday wishes on it. Now I just PM the birthday guy or gal.

I liked to post news about blu ray releases too something that's not covered on the boards.

I second this. I miss it.

Yeah, birthdays should be celebrated! I like to make really cute birthday wishes and caviar kisses! 🎁❤️💋

Not sure if this is possible, but is there any way to limit the number of videos that people can embed in one post? While I appreciate the videos that people post on SON, there have been occasions this summer where a few dozen videos were embedded in one post. I personally use my phone a lot to read these pages and the volume of videos embedded in a single post have repeatedly caused SON to crash on my phone.

Regarding the signature pics, you can block them for individual users. There is a little button at the bottom of the signatures with an X. If you click the arrow next to it, you get a drop down menu and you can choose to ignore all signatures or just that individual. I have done this with some people who have really huge photos on their signatures because it's a lot to scroll through. (I happened to clip this from @edgeofnik's post just as an example; theirs is very unobtrusive!)

I personally think we reached overused GIF/personal masturbation pix saturation on the public show threads about ten years ago, but I've pretty much accepted that I'm likely in a minority on that one.

Well, there a certain member we all know. Who revels in those gifs and pics. And once he tossed me aside. I took ever gif and pic i ever post for him. In all his worshipping straight actor threads.

Just recently when you open a sub-forum the first (few) sentences of every topic is visible. Is there a way to hide that so you only see the titles, like before? The way it is now makes it hard to get an overview and distinguish the separate topics from each other.

You turn off signatures in your settings

@Errol why cant we have small gifs in our sigs? I got a PM saying we're not allowed, is that new, cause we used to be allowed too if they weren't too big.

Did something change and no one told us? LOL

I say get rid of the hotness thread and prohibit any pictures being posted. That way the complaints would stop.

Also harassment of posters by other posters needs to stop.

Start banning posters.

@BoldRestless Thanks for the tutorial! After all these years, I had no idea that was an option. And, done.

The bottom line is that we're all here for the same reason - why love soaps and like to share the experience with other fans.

OK, sometimes we hate-watch, but that's a different kind of love.

Gifs in signature - I'll take this one, @Errol.  That's not happening.

Why? Yet I see posters with a crap tone of quotes and things a mile long 🤔

I agree with gifs (*moving* images) not allowed in signatures.

I think stationary images in signatures are okay but i prefer *not* big.

I think it has to do with bandwidth and loading times of users, and their abilities to load pages, depending on who has larger signatures and/or signatures that demand more load time.

Big signatures use up bandwidth too lol
