Given what I’m reading in terms of opinion each page, and the fact that what starts ‘underground’ (i.e boards and communities such as this) eventually becomes mainstream, I can easily see discontent manifesting itself on social media and in viewership, and I don’t anticipate this current Executive team (EP and Head Writer) being in charge this time next year.

It's truly ridiculous to see Chloe (who is herself a few eggs short of a carton) praise as "the best of the best" someone who once harassed, stalked and even threatened to rape Christine.

It's kind of odd to be centering an episode on a character who has no presence on the show apart from occasional pop  ins.

Looking forward to an Esther tribute.

In Josh's usual style, Michael is acknowledged as the best prosecutor ever!

CLB needs to think about taming that mane.

With that hair and beard, he truly looks like a villain on an episode of "Charlie's Angels."  Like, he's running a bike messenger service that's a front for a call-girl ring; and any minute now, he's gonna tell Don Stroud or Tim Rossovich that Cheryl Ladd's getting too close to exposing the entire operation, "and she needs to be dispatched with -- and I mean permanently!"

Somehow, I can't see Christian LeBlanc filling Burl Ives' shoes.  (Or Fred Gwynne's.  Or Charles Durning's.  Or Ned Beatty's.  Or James Earl Jones's.)

Le Blanc wasn't even on last month and had a total of 21 appearances for all of 2021.

And SOD gave it front cover

'The Week That Changes Everything! Michael in Crisis!

So lame.

Next week

Faith and Moses- A shocking decision that changes Genoa City Forever!! (Faith decides to order a different juice at Crimson Lights)

    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!
