I'm over Horton Town Square AND Price Town.

I want to go back to Salem Place.

LOL

I can see why some pearl clutchers were aghast as Tom and Alice's plaque was knocked down. But then of course you have the awful trash humans who have to run their mouths ...

I agree, the Horton Center is the Horton 'legacy'. The idea of the Town Square in their honor was a WONDERFUL idea and nice nod to them but the set became small and it almost seems like "what's the point" ... can you believe it's a decade old?

They're better off dragging out the bench in the woods and putting the plaque there. I'd rather they do some park, like Chancellor Park on Y&R. Town Square is already a small tiny gathering place ... lol.

Though I did like they added an entrance to the hotel there.

I just watched yesterday's episode and it was bizarre how Rafe and Ava popped up for literally 10 seconds at the end for the fireworks.

Chanel and Allie had more chemistry with that kiss than Tripp and Allie have had in every scene of theirs combined.

One day in the role, and I already prefer Raven Bowens over Precious Way.
Night and day in terms of portrayal, and Bowens' work will take this role far.. and farther than Way ever could have.

I've always had issues with Alan Sarapa and his social media presence.

Lucky us?  Lol.  It was weird.  I was only watching while doing something else and I thought I just ignored all Rafe/Ava stuff and missed them.

I feel like Days does this all the time.  They spoil things or people and they completely cut them.  Not that I care about Rafe/Ava, but they did this recently with Belle/John or John/Marlena and they had a SOD spoiler or something and they literally just disappeared half way through the episode without getting to the spoiler.

I like new Chanel and I like Chanel/Allie.  Her and Tripp are zzzzzz//but probably endgame, but they are just boring.

Oh, see, I could imagine Adams as Will. Hell, I even enjoyed Guy Wilson... if only he had been given better material. But, Chandler Massey (at least when Will's memory was gone) was enjoyable during this last stint.

Can always recast Sonny with someone like Robert Adamson (ex-Noah, Y&R).

    • Too bad Anne Meacham is no longer living.  Wouldn't it be great to see Louise Goddard appear as Anita and Vernon's housekeeper????

    • The writers need to stop writing Nick/Sharon as forever young and beautiful star-crossed lovers and write them as the middle aged adults with grown children that they are.
    • Yes. He was asleep in the living room, over in the chair that is sideways to the room, but faces it & he had one of his bad dreams in the exact same way as always & as always it woke him up. Is that a thing? Are there bad dreams that for some reason always wake you?

    • Yeah, I was fickle. I abandoned baby watch & just tried to think of really well matched pairings. Yeah, they sent Carter & Thomasina away far too soon for my way of looking at things.  I REALLY liked them & they were rare being both young & African Americans.
    • My watching in that time period was sketchy.  After high school, I didn't have a TV.  I would watch in the dormitory common room  my first year away from home, but then after that I lived in a rental with housemates who didn't want TV.  I think I caught up on the soaps during school(univ) vacations, when visiting my sister's house.  And then many many years later on soapnet?  Not sure. I had no idea that Jeff ever tried suicide. Reading just now is the first I ever heard of that. Interesting. I will agree that Monica wanted Jeff out of the way so she could be with Rick, but she would have wanted him gone emotionally.  But I don't remember watching Jeff having any medical issues, so I don't know if she would have wanted him dead.
    • Didn't he have a nightmare last week?
    • Nothing about Joss ever works. I can't blame them for trying a completely fresh approach for her, but she needs to be written out.
    • Thanks @Paul Raven  Some of this sounds strong but it's all so heavy and some elements, like with Felicia and Charles, almost veer on parody. L&L seemed to always be a heavy show - did they ever even have comic relief moments? - but I do wonder if it all became too much for viewers.
