LOL there were no trailers. Kim Zimmer has been open about the awkward gas station costume changes and in cars.

I had no idea. Pretty pathetic they couldn't get the cast a single trailer to do changes. Shows what little investment P&G had in its soaps by this time.

As long as they tape outside, I think they can continue filming.

Another thought I had was maybe until covid-19 is under control..maybe do more arcs (b & b basically seems to do that anyway)?

Part of why the show has been boring, choppy garbage full of contrived couples (looking at every character paired among Adam, Chelsea, Nick, Summer, Kyle, and Lola) with zero rooting value and low level stakes since he returned. MS’s Phyllis has been reduced to sparring with MO’s Abby, possibly one of the top 5 worst recasts in show history. Boring gutter trash and the talented actors know it. I will keep watching classics and enjoy them for as long as possible.

This is the real deal. The actors taping Y&R want their checks just as much as anybody.

“At first, we took out the love scenes, and the show was falling a little flat because we’re all about romance and family interactions,” said Bradley Bell, the executive producer of the CBS daytime drama. “One of the first ideas we had was to bring in mannequins for the intimate scenes and hospital scenes, and it’s working quite well — we’re shooting it from a great distance or in a way you can’t see the form is inanimate.”

How are the performers reacting to their lifeless co-stars? “We’ve had a lot of strange looks and questions like, Do you really want to do this?” Bell said. “But everyone is game. They are getting their first latex kiss.”
