B&B to air classic episodes

Now that CBS is going to air actual classic episodes it's time for a thread.

I guess May 4 is not a Stephanie Forrester week, but a best weddings week:

Then, as THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL comes down the aisle, storylines will include:

On Monday, May 4, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) desperately attempts to escape from Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) to let Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) know that she’s alive, while Ridge and Brooke (Lang) have their epic first wedding in front of friends… and foes on the beautiful beach in Point Dume, Calif. The episode originally aired Sept. 30, 1994.

On Tuesday, May 5, Steffy (Wood) and Liam (Clifton) are wed in front of the iconic Opera House on the glorious Sydney, Australia harbor. While the ceremony progresses in front of family and friends, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) eases his sorrows over his brother’s marriage to his ex-wife with several drinks. The episode originally aired March 22, 2017.

On Wednesday, May 6, Katie (Tom), the only woman to have ever stolen Dollar Bill's (Diamont) heart, walks down the aisle to become Mrs. William Spencer, Jr., with her sisters at her side, at the San Fernando Valley home where she was raised. Legendary CBS star Patrick Duffy (“Dallas”) guest stars as Katie’s father, Stephen Logan. The episode originally aired Nov. 13, 2009.

On Thursday, May 7, Eric Forrester (McCook) and Brooke Logan (Lang) say “I Do” as Eric’s ex-wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery), and Brooke’s true love, Ridge (Kaye), watch without objection. Eric then takes Brooke on a romantic and surprise honeymoon in a magnificent hot-air balloon in Palm Springs, Calif. The episode originally aired Jan. 8, 1991.

Wrapping up on Friday, May 8: Having overcome astounding obstacles, Hope (Kim Matula, in a role currently played by Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) joyously say “I Do” in front of family, friends, and the many residents of the beautiful city of Puglia, Italy. Frustrated and brokenhearted, Steffy (Wood) updates Eric (McCook) and Stephanie (Flannery) on the dramatic events transpiring in Puglia. The episode originally aired June 26, 2012.

I wonder who makes the final decision on what episodes to air. Is it CBS or is it the Bells? Brad probably has an obsession with Hope/Liam/Steffy, so I thought the wedding week was his idea but is he the one who chose to air the Ridge/Brooke and Eric/Brooke weddings too?

Pretty sure it's all Brad Bell

Yes, that's better. But only two episodes pre-2003. Ugh.

The choices are not the ones I’d pick but better than nothing. Never thought they’d choose an episode with Jack Wagner for instance.

Why? Did they burn bridges?

We could've done without him!

Nope - just because Nick is completely wiped out as a character on the show these daYs. It’s like the Marones never existed...

the could have chosen an episode with James, Connor or Grant - all didn’t last as long on B&B as Nick but had some great moments/storylines with Brooke so that it’s totally random, IMO

You can't have a Brooke week without any of the BeLief episodes!....but other then that the Honeymoon episode is at least something new they haven't repeated before...I think?

Yep, I think none of these have ever been shown on CBS again. The 5000 episode might have reaired one coast, though

They should've shown when Brooke gets 50% of Forrester with Brooke telling Stephanie she finally won. I mean some of the newer audience only knows her as "I sleep with my loved ones men" instead of the ambitious chemist turned successful businesswoman.

Brooke Logan week without Belief is like Michael Jackson day without Billie Jean. Why are they always making such mistakes. Who needs that episode with new Ridge and the stupid rose.

That 2012 Aspen episode, was their a temp recast for Oliver that week? They kept calling this guy Oliver but definitely too big to be Zach Conroy.

Well, that wasn’t as bad as I thought I had assumed everything was going to be from 2013-present tbh.

You nailed that right on the head. Thudley got bored with his version of the Spectras and wrote them off in one swoop.

That 1994 wedding ep it was such a treat to see James and Connor again, I would so love to see Grant appear again he was the last man on this show with a pair of steel balls!

I could do without the episode with Ridge returning. That's not really a classic Brooke episode at all.

I have to question the logic of the timing of some of these. I'm super happy to get two 1991 episodes so I don't want to complain, but it doesn't make sense airing the wedding one week and then the episode that follows two weeks later.

They also managed to show the 3/21/17 episode with Liam and Steffy today, the 3/22/17 episode back on May 5, and the 3/23/17 episode was the first classic they showed all the way back on April 3.  There's no continuity whatsoever.
