Now that CBS is going to air actual classic episodes it's time for a thread.

I guess May 4 is not a Stephanie Forrester week, but a best weddings week:

Then, as THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL comes down the aisle, storylines will include:

On Monday, May 4, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) desperately attempts to escape from Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) to let Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) know that she’s alive, while Ridge and Brooke (Lang) have their epic first wedding in front of friends… and foes on the beautiful beach in Point Dume, Calif. The episode originally aired Sept. 30, 1994.

On Tuesday, May 5, Steffy (Wood) and Liam (Clifton) are wed in front of the iconic Opera House on the glorious Sydney, Australia harbor. While the ceremony progresses in front of family and friends, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) eases his sorrows over his brother’s marriage to his ex-wife with several drinks. The episode originally aired March 22, 2017.

On Wednesday, May 6, Katie (Tom), the only woman to have ever stolen Dollar Bill's (Diamont) heart, walks down the aisle to become Mrs. William Spencer, Jr., with her sisters at her side, at the San Fernando Valley home where she was raised. Legendary CBS star Patrick Duffy (“Dallas”) guest stars as Katie’s father, Stephen Logan. The episode originally aired Nov. 13, 2009.

On Thursday, May 7, Eric Forrester (McCook) and Brooke Logan (Lang) say “I Do” as Eric’s ex-wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery), and Brooke’s true love, Ridge (Kaye), watch without objection. Eric then takes Brooke on a romantic and surprise honeymoon in a magnificent hot-air balloon in Palm Springs, Calif. The episode originally aired Jan. 8, 1991.

Wrapping up on Friday, May 8: Having overcome astounding obstacles, Hope (Kim Matula, in a role currently played by Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) joyously say “I Do” in front of family, friends, and the many residents of the beautiful city of Puglia, Italy. Frustrated and brokenhearted, Steffy (Wood) updates Eric (McCook) and Stephanie (Flannery) on the dramatic events transpiring in Puglia. The episode originally aired June 26, 2012.

Did Brad get bored with Sasha/Nicole/Zende/Ivy,etc. I stopped watching as much around 2016 and am surprised at the cast turnover as I watch the "classics"

Didn’t Massimo always have a problem with Brooke? It was because of him she fell out of the Eiffel Tower right?

the 1998 episode sounds promising although I could give two hoots about Usher....i wonder how much his residual check is worth??

Yeah he had issues with Brooke from the second he came on the show. His first story was teaming up with Stephanie to make Brooke think her father was dying so Brooke would leave town permanently. They paid off Stephen to pretend he was dying.

I read about that stuff and it really left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since Taylor was in on it too, or at least kept quiet on what Stephanie and Massimo were up too...I get Brooke who was newly single went after Ridge again, but I still think they all did her dirty.

Massimo and Stephanie put the plan in motion and then told Taylor after they did it but she kept the secret because before that Brooke had told Taylor she was going to take her family and her kids (basically). Brooke was even planning creepy play dates with Thomas so I couldn't blame Taylor for wanting her gone even though the plan went too far. Ridge went off on Taylor when he found out the truth, Brooke thought he would leave Taylor over it but he told her it wasn't happening and Ridge and Taylor got back together.

It seemed mainly to be a setup for Ridge/Massimo conflict for the big dumb reveal that Massimo was Ridge's father (what was ever the point in that).

Ah, Well that certainly puts more in perspective. I'm usually on Brooke's side when it comes to Stephanie, but threatening to take Taylor's family away is pushing things too far....but at the end of the day it's Bradley Bell who refuses to see Brooke but anything but "the slut from the valley", At least we saw during most of 1999-2001 Brooke was happy with Thorne and even finally seemed to earn her place and Stephanie's respect into the family.

Leave it to Thudley to randomly create

a major plot twist of “Massimo is Ridge’s father!!!” and have it be completely forgotten about almost 20 years later.

I think the only true paternity reveal I ever enjoyed on a soap is Ethan's on Passions....or course being 10 years old, I had know how tired that cliche was in Soaps by that point..LOL

Do they EVER mention Massimo? Or the fact that Ridge is not Eric's son?

It seemed like once all of the Marone's left that was all forgotten and never mentioned

I quit watching the show regularly like 20 years ago tbh

Last time I heard any mention of the was a few years back in 2016 or so when Rick was plotting against Ridge & Thomas and

said “They aren’t even REAL Forresters!” LOL. Brooke/Taylor have a son with Nick that has never been mentioned since 2011. LOL.

Haha I think the last WTD storyline I actually enjoyed was on ATWT in 2003 mainly because it ended on a very happy note for Jack & Carly.

Why did Brooke and Thorne break up anyway? Was Ridge just available again so she bounced?

Also, did they ever write out Brooke and Ridge's son RJ? It's very odd that the show's primary couple's son isn't on the show. Is it because all of the women on the show are related to him? I mean that barely matters to this show...

She just decided overnight that she was still in love with Ridge. Thorne overheard Brooke confiding in Megan. And that was it. They were over.

I was so disappointed. Brooke and Thorne were my favorite couple on the show.

They made a great couple and the relationship felt fresh!

and then indeed: the show just dropped them in a hot second. It was ludricous

Thanks. So dumb. I started watching around the time they got together so I wasn't even aware Brooke and Ridge were a thing.

I guess it was to clear the way for Brooke and Deacon? IMO B&D were a smokin-hot pairing, but a year later it was over, so didn't create much long-term story... other than giving us the dubious "gift" of the character Hope!

Yeah,  again, Brooke seemed to finally have her Place and respect in the Forrester family, and Stephanie at least learned to tolerate her....and that was all thrown off track by Bradley of course.
