At my job, we had an in person fiscal year kick off earlier this month.  Masks weren't required, but we had to provide proof of a negative Covid test before being allowed to attend.   I think it's a perfect compromise that if everyone entering is negative then masks shouldn't be mandated.

And we're entering year 3 of the pandemic, which should be the final stretch of it.. if we compare it to the 1918 Flu Pandemic.. which took 3 years before it became endemic (sp?).

And when Covid started circulating back in early 2020, experts had predicted the majority of the world would get exposed to it before it settled into Endemic status.. but that masks, capacity limits, and lockdowns (which should have been short-term) would give health places time to prepare, scientists time to determine what causes transmission of Covid, and for places to get themselves ready once things opened back up (i.e. safety precautions, etc).

I will never understand how some can defend the royal family after this past week. So this happens and Charles apparently KNOWINGLY exposed his mother to COVID. His current wife now verified to have COVID went to visit a grade school the day after Charles was diagnosed and it was announced he had COVID, and she wore no mask around the children. 2 days later she was announced as having COVID. These people are putrid.

I have had some respect for Elizabeth but her forking over money for Andrew's settlement of that lawsuit really rubbed me the wrong way. Yet people will still scream MEGHAN AND HARRY BAD.

And then Charles and this garbage.  So all you have to do as a Saudi to become a UK citizen is to be a billionaire and donate to his charities. I will NEVER understand the wests allegiance still to the Saudi's after all the actions they had a hand in the past 25 years. Well longer than that but you get the point.

Why people still want to support this garbage by the royals is beyond me.

@JaneAusten and they have such ardent supporters, it's inexplicable to me.

People were joking that, after the pronouncement that Camilla was on the track to one day be Queen, the Cornwalls had decided to put their foot on the gas.

With the disgusting situation with Andrew's settlement to Virginia Giuffre without admission of guilt, of course, and Charles' honours payola scheme, it should be clear how trashy these folks truly are.Of course, royalists will always spin it as outsiders and commoners being the problem. I wish that other islands that are in the Commonwealth would follow Barbados' lead to becoming a republic. Great Britain has done absolutely nothing for them but extract the wealth from their respective islands (including human capital) to build the United Kingdom. I get so angry every time I think about this.

Moderna needed to wait until a sufficient amount of "darkies" had died.

What's very tragic is that I just found out that someone who mutually follows me on Twitter died of COVID-19.

    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
    • Luna parachutes herself into Llanview at the end of September 15th 1991.
    • That lengthy flashback does make me wonder if she threw out a lot, but I agree it may have been too easy an urban legend. Would these have been her very first episodes? I imagine you could feel the big difference when Bobbie arrived, alongside the Quartermaines filing in, the return of Heather, and Lesley/Rick/Monica/Alan heating up. It does remind me that there must have been some dud moments in the 60-minute format we just don't see because little of the period is available in full.  I wonder how much longer the Dantes lasted under Marland.  David Hamilton is so disgusting. I appreciate the show making him disgust as some shows when they have stories about older men or women manipulating teens aren't as honest.  I can't see this Rick being friends with him. Chris Robinson's Rick, on the other hand, I could believe.
