    :lol: Is he talking about the chances he failed to take creatively when he should've tried to work the pairings/storyline he was given?  Then the quote would make sense but I doubt his fanatics would get the connection.

    Just sheer desperation. When GL ended, he went on and on about how it shouldn't and how he needed to make a living. Likely because he knew he was never going to find work again as an actor and he was very lucky GL kept his ass LONG after he had outlined his usefulness.
