Did her dismissing JR Martinez as an actor cause AMC to dump her before moving production to LA.

Beth should have been Hayley or Liza

I remember Beth saying they decided no, cause those roles are too connected to the canvas what type of Bull is that????

Ehlers became so different on-screen IMO. Taylor was a waste. I wish she had just stayed on GL but TBH, I was sort of sick of her and Harley (and I remember I hated Gus - just too much propping and trying to make fetch happen when it wasn't happening - and their pairing) so I didn't mind. I never understood why anyone used to like Harley until I watched older stuff. SO different.

Why am I just finding out that Larry Brygmann (John Dixon) used to be married to Jacqueline Schultz (Dee Stewart #5)??!

Honestly, I think ATWT takes the title for most actors who were involved in real life!  I find out about new couples every day, LOL!

I'm too lazy to go back through the thread, but that doesn't even count

Paul Leyden and Peyton List ---dated

Lesli Kay and Keith Coularis --- married and divorced

Cady McClain and Hunt Block --dated

Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom---married

Maura West and Scott DeFrietas----married

What freaked me out was finding out Kathryn Hays had briefly been married to Glenn Ford.

    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.

I'm sorry but I'm a glutton for punishment. Would love to see this woman OWNING the canvas. Telling off Leslie who tells her she's the head b!tch.
    • And in case anyone is confused; Rusty was hired by HB to work undercover and infiltrate some gang sabotaging Lewis.
