She does feel "over it" with him, it's very telling, honestly, lol. And I'm someone who never thought she's phoned it in, but she seems checked out with him. I do like them doing things with her kids but it still seems all about Franco. It sucks. And yep, the Howarth stans are something ...

They'd have to pay her for more than one episode a month

Why does Sam seem so out of it and unenthusiastic. Kelly's giving all of her lines with sighs and a "stressed out " delivery. Is that how she's always been? Similarly Sonny seems so tired, the charachter is clearly past his prime as Jason is more so being put at the center of the show.

The new seisure white opening as expressed is bad. It seems as technology gets more advanced soap openings are looking cheaper. Just look at Y&R's terrible new champagne glass intro. The Bold & the Beautiful had the right idea when they brought back their 2001 opener. At least the one saving grace is that GH is still more interesting than anything on CBS at the moment.

Agreed. Guiding Light probably was the worst of the long running soaps when it came to title sequences.

Jason David is the best. Such a natural! I love Aiden and I feel so bad for him. William Lipton is also fantastic as Cameron. He's the best teen actor by far IMO, he's got charisma and chops. He and Joss actually have potential to be something special. I didn't think that was possible on GH anymore!

Today's episode was shockingly good. Really good family moments and emotional moments. Garren did a pretty decent job in the scenes with Kim and Terry finding out about his diagnosis. I felt really bad for him for the first time in a looooong time. This story is really sad. The show overall is just too dark. Plus, we got a serial killer who forgot what his damn job is! Ugh.

ITA about Jason David. He's a natural. William Lipton is the best of the teens, and I like his take on Cam.

Today on Franko's Hospital.....     Why is he on every fu c king day?   Why wasn't Liz the one baking the cookies with Aiden?  The character seriously needs a few days off.

This bitch needs to spill soon......

Looking forward to the Gail's will story---seeing Lucy, Scott, Monica and Laura in a story sounds good... for now.    (Hoping to see some Barbara Jean in this story.....)

Will we see Chet  again this month or will he be off-screen til 2020?

Brad and Lucas remain off-screen while we have to sit through painful Wallow scenes with Chase, Michael, Jillian and Nina.

I also thought Stitt was better than usual (not saying a lot there) in the scenes where he found out his future. I wouldn't mind a last minute cure/recast to salvage the Q legacy.

" ONCE MORE, WITH FEELING"

I need a gif of Mike socking Sonny.

Anyone that thinks Ryan will do in Sonny and Carly is high.   It will really piss him off when he fumbles this.  Can he please take his fury out on Nina?   PLEASE!  We need a scene where Ava tells Ryan how Nina ripped Avery out of her body and stole her.  That would get some results..... Stop killing dayplayers and show some Redzilla carnage......

Laura looked fabulous and I liked the Stella/Curtis scenes.

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
