I LOVE LOVE LOVE Will and Paul. So much. I could gush all day like a pathetic fanboy. I enjoyed them actually talking things out. It's obviously going to go bad for them at some point. I feel like the anvils were falling. But I just love them together.

 

I like the potential conflict between Marlena and Hope over Ben. I just loved Ben and Marlena's scenes. I have to admit I think RSW was pretty good. But the whole Claire/Tripp, Ciara/Ben thing is going a lightning speed. Lawd. I was pretty much nodding in agreement the entire time Claire was talking badly about herself. Yes, you are a selfish bitch and a terrible person. Why is Shawn and Belle's child so horrid? I literally cringed seeing her come back Friday. I used to like her way back when. I dunno what the hell happened.

 

I kind of like Chloe and Eve's friendship. I loved them blowing selfish bitch Theresa out of the water. I didn't mind that happening so quickly. I can't stand Theresa (I loved when she was coked up and in JJ's orbit) so it was great seeing her exposed.

 

Enjoyed Nikolas Stefan and Katherine Kayla.

 

So many individual scenes are better than the overall show. Not the worst thing I guess. I feel a bit more balance at the moment.

 

Deidre Hall's airtime sure has gone up and I love it.

 

The show's not great but I guess I'm enjoying it more than I realized. It still has a lot of issues but it at least feels like things are moving and happening. But we'll see if the momentum can keep going. It usually doesn't (no matter who's writing). I'm sure we'll get some dreck.

 

I feel like the show is keeping Gabi locked up because they don't know what else to do with her. Eli/Lani have the baby, JJ is now interacting with Theresa and I think the show doesn't really know what to do with Gabi. I saw other people suggesting that they think that Diane may have stabbed herself too to get back at Gabby. Or maybe someone snuck in and stabbed her after Gabi was attacked again by her and blacked out . I'm not sure what is going to happen in that storyline.

 

Claire reminds me more of Sami, than she does of Belle/Shawn, (especially when they were teens.) She definitely doesn't really think things through and makes bad decisions.

 

And I enjoyed seeing Chloe/Brady interact together for a bit after she was rescued.

 

I am enjoying the show as a whole right now, and from the looks of the spoilers that are out there, there will be a lot of storylines going on this summer. I am looking forward to most of them and am glad that the show will be utilizing a lot of characters. 

Gabi has a story that doesn't require much thought... rebuilding her life again after being falsely accused of a crime she didn't commit this time.. and finding it more difficult to get a job, a place to stay, etc because she was in jail twice... plus, her trying to forgive Abby.. yet at the same time, realizing that maybe her actions years ago (that ended up costing Jack's life) could have spurred on the split personality.

A day behind...still need last Wed episode...but seeing the first minute and Chandler Massey shirtless....

Am I the only one who is completely bored with this show right now? I can't see one redeeming quality of the show right now. 

Freddie and Chandler AGAIN grinned and smirked through their scenes. Ugh.

I like JJ's apartment set.

I also like JJ's new apartment. Way better than his ugly room at the Martin House. Imagine  today's scenes between JJ, Jen, Eric & Theresa taking place at JJ's old place. They would've been too awkward. Will, Sonny & Paul's scenes in Will's tiny bed room were awkward. I wish this soap had a budget for better sets. I was rather surprised seeing Xander in a suit. After being half naked for weeks

I know these episodes filmed six months ago, but why is Paul wearing these long sleeve henleys in the middle of June?

He is awful in these scenes. Just terrible any time he has to show authority or power. Xander made Sonny look like a little bitch.

 

Freddie either ruins these scenes or grins through scenes with Chandler. Just one horrific actor.

Unless Ron is going to redeem him, I see no other use for him, as he's another psycho/villain running around town freely.
