Julie's reaction to hearing Rafe had cheated on Hope on Friday's episode was hilarious!

This all fell a bit flat with Sami not being around, but yet somehow it has more energy than what we've seen for the last month or so.

Claire is a loser/awful character played by an atrocious actress.

 

Eli is horrible too. The actor sucks and the character is always brooding.

Eric's hair looks so awful - please tell me it doesn't look like this every day? He looks like one of those porn actors awkwardly transitioning into bear/daddy stage...

 

Anyway.

 

It's good to see that Bill and Susan Hayes can still give such good performances and still have such a spark together after all these years. Their little bit near the end of the episode is what I watch (or used to watch) soaps for.

SSH was awesome. By far this was the best moment of today's show. Even through Gabi didn't deserve it. I loved Julie reading her and her family to filth.  

 

 

You know Ron is in charge when Tripp appears shirtless two days in a row and has Eric's black/grayish chest hair on air too.

  I hate it when guys have their hair the way Eric does. The whole wet slick back look.....Nick(JM) has been wearing that style for years.....and beard too just like Eric

I hope Claire is dead from that punch Ciara laid on her.

Claire has become super annoying, and I'm liking Ciara a lot more now than I did when she was first brought back. I cracked up at her punching Claire.

I love the Ciara recast. I can hardly believe they got it right. Claire was grating to me when Theo was around. I don't know why I think it's just how possessive she was.  The actress is having a little trouble delivering her lines naturally. Overall, I like her again though and I really like the relationship she has with Eve. I hope the show keeps that up.

 

I like that Maggie is standing up to Victor. I guess Brady has really fallen for Eve. He truly is playing the Kristen role in this story.

Glad Carlivati has been giving Richard Culliton and Dave Kreizman more scripts.  Both writers have written 28 scripts in the 32 weeks since Ron took over, followed by CC, RM and LC each of whom written 27 a piece.  I know Days keeps a bigger staff of writers due to shooting schedule and budget but both men are their best script writers.  I still think Ron needs to work on the outline writers.  The construction of some episodes is so sluggish and uninspired.

What's weirder is the era they picked to start off in. It wasn't too long into the dreadful Poulter & Thomas era I got fed up and quit watching by February 2012. 

Didn't Nick try to rape Gabi? I have to admit I'm having a hard time remembering exactly what happened.
