I managed a fan website for Susan for several years. After Port Charles, GH used her and Peter Hansen less and less. It was a disappointment to Susan because she loved acting! She had many friends in the business, too. She told me that imdb.com

had it wrong about her being on The Edge of Night. Ann Flood was on both EON and From these Roots, but Susan only subbed on FTR, not EON. I tried to get imdb.com

to correct its records, but I was ignored. I did get her credits separated from the British Susan Brown, Game of Thrones. Those 2 actresses are nothing alike!
Susan was a joy and a delight to be around, genuine, real and very humble. I miss her. 😢

I'm going to check with an expert and remove the EON credit if they agree it's valid. Will let you know over the weekend what turns up.

Hamilton won a Peabody Award in 2005 for creating and directing the 2003 documentary film Beah: A Black Woman Speaks. The film tells the story of pioneering black actress Beah Richards, who had broken ground for African-American actresses. The two women had met on the set of Beloved (1998). Over the next two years, Hamilton made a record of more than 70 hours of their conversations. Hamilton's film explored Richards' political activism as well as her poetry. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the AFI Film Festival. After Richards died in 2000, Hamilton collaborated with illustrator R. Gregory Christie to turn one of her poems into a children's book. Keep Climbing Girls was published by Simon and Schuster in 2006.
