I hope that some day there's a way to revisit the entertainment that is her legacy -- at least, as much of that entertainment as still exists.

For some strange reason I felt like she'd live forever.

Sad news.  She was an amazing woman by all accounts, and her impact on this genre cannot be ignored.  She got real health issues for women introduced on Guiding Light.  She wrote the truly groundbreaking story of Carla Gray on OLTL.  AMC is full of her trailblazing work.  I hope her history is not forgotten.
