I no longer watch DAYS, but I am curious about another issue: how often do viewers actually see Maggie Horton and Doug and Julie Williams? (They're the only three characters whom I'd make a point of tuning in for, at this point.)

Julie and Doug appear once in a blue moon Maggie appears more. Julie and Doug run a bed and breakfast in the newly renovated Martin home. They never show the Martin home set which is a nice looking set. Which is way better than most of the overused shoddy sets Days has.

Probably Phelps and Pratt will try to compete and have someone burn to death in the Chancellor mansion on Y&R on Christmas.

The acting in the rape scene was terrible from both actors, and the direction and editing were worse.

 

i cannot believe how bad that was. Horrific work from everybody at DAYS. 

She's a terrible actress NBC sees this and demanded days fix its taping schedule to be able to react quickly when things don't work

OH, NO THEY DIDN'T!!!

To be honest, I didnt like Susan until Marty's rape so maybe this will make Vivian stronger. I hope it does or the story will fall flat if one side of the equation cant bring the chomps.

Its 2016 no soap should be doing a rape storyline to make a character likeable anymore. 

Is Hope assuming or Did Stefano verbally state that he kidnapped Bo or was evidence found that led to him?

What's next after the rape, if viewers don't start liking her more? Will they chop off her hand? Or breast cancer?

 

Jesus, this show.

So, Doug and Julie are living in Salem now, and not traveling around the globe like they seemed to do for twenty years?

 

What is the Martin home? As a viewer from decades past, I know/knew a character named David Martin, who married Susan Hunter way back in the 1960s, but this Martin home in 2016 cannot possibly be David's family's house. The writers wouldn't use or even know about history from that long ago.

It's the same Martin family's house?!? You could knock me over with a feather right now. I am shocked that anyone working on DAYS today (except maybe Ken Corday) would have any knowledge of the show's distant past.  Thanks for the info.

Yeah, Julie explained to Caroline and Maggie that David Martin was the son of a rich Salem family and that he was tragically killed by his wife. Weirdly, she didn't mention that he was the father of her own child...
