Peggy Mercer and Roy Lansing bicker over her former fiance and friend Dr. Steve Hardy, on his way to check on her son, Johnny.

Butch Patrick  (Eddie Munster) was Johnny.

Neil Hamilton, of Batman (Commissioner Gordon)  was Peggy's father, Phillip.

 

 

Allison Hayes and Barry Kelley     as Priscilla and William "Bill" Longworth.  Bill was the Head of the Hospital Board.   This is from 1963.  Not sure if Kelley was in the rolre in 1966, but likely he was.

In 1963   Dr. Steve Hardy was in high demand....

Nurse Jessie demanded signatures; Peggy Mercer demanded he pay attention to her; Priscilla Longworth, well, she expected attention; and young Angie Costello demanded her doctor pay her Mind!!!

Phil, married to Jessie, longed for former schoolmate and  now a teacher, Cynthia Allison.

but still kept Jessie close.

James Griffith       ??????     4/2/1968 - ?1969?        Hospital director; not supportive of Jessie and Tm Baldwin when John Prentice died; expected Steve to speak for him; Steve did not; requested Henry Pinkham squire his niece Sandy around, although Henry was secretly married; disliked Phil; discovered Hank Pinkham was a WWII buddy; interviewed Tracy Adams and wanted her gone, but Steve threatened to quit; received complaints about Dr. Adams from Wallace Dillon.

 

Ralph Conway   Maurice Manson               October 25, 1965-January 1966   Hired Eddie Weeks as a favor to Al; Eddie's drinking and screwing up causes Ralph to  fire Eddie.

Unaware of Henry's recent secret marriage to Sharon McGillis, he pursued Sharon, trying to convince Henry to date old WWII buddy,James Griffith's niece Sandy.  Often showed up around holidays.  Around Christmas, 1968 he gave Sharon a bracelet with his picture , then he proposed to Sharon.

Dr, Genevieve Kendall Jones     Joan Tompkins    March - June 1967    Doctor from San Francisco that Audrey went to to be artificially inseminated; Audrey forged Steve's signature, and was in fear that Dr. Jones would reveal all to Steve. Arriving in Port Charles, she was outraged by Audrey's revelation, but ultimately revealed that Steve could still have been the father.

Dr. ___ Nelson        ?????      Mentioned 11/27 as the OB/GYN that Audrey had seen and told about her artificial insemination and separated from Steve; 1/31/1968 -- fetal heartbeat is weak which led to a Caesarean Birth -- baby died;  3/13/1968 -- told Audrey she couldn't have children.

 

Joan Fielding       ?????     September 6, 1967 - November 3, 1967    Cirrhosis  patient assigned to Nurse Iris Fairchild; experienced delirium tremors; warned any more drinking could be fatal; gets fired; starts drinking again; found in a hepatic stupor; with Meg when she dies.

 

Jeff Robertson     ????? 12/13/1967-12/18/1967   Airline President; visits with Audrey and tells her there is a job available; admits loneliness to her, and she responds.

 

Dr. Arnold Patterson       ????     9/11/1968       calls Steve to recommend Dr. Tracy Adams, a Renal Specialist

 

Dr. Tracy Adams        Kim Hamilton     9/24/1968 -   /  /1969        Specialist in kidneys/renal disease, recommended by Dr. Arnold Patterson to Steve Hardy.  Botched an interview with James Griffith, but was backed by Steve Hardy and was appointed to the position when he threatened to quit.   She had three patients to choose from for dialysis.  Was given a hard time by Wallace Dillon, who went to James Griffith to get rid of her.  Next was Clyde Stewart, a minister. The third was Caroline __ Beale,  a wife and mother with complications from diabetes. Though she tried to stall so Caroline would be able to receive the treatment, it inevitably went to Dillon.

Wallace Dillon      ?????    10/7/1968 - ? 1969      First dialysis candidate.  Did not like Tracy Adams and went after her through James Griffith; eventually selected for dialysis.

Clyde Stewart        ?????      10/28/1968 - ? /1968       Elderly minister, took to Tracy Adams immediately; candidate that did not get the dialysis treatment.

Caroline ___ Beale      Tyne Daly   11/4/1968-?/1969?   Third candidate for dialysis with Dr. Tracy Adams; in renal failure with complications from diabetes. Tracy attempted to stall the dialysis for medical improvement, but was unable to qualify.   Wife of Kirk, mother of Johnny Beale and Susie Beale.

Kirk Beale     ????     11/6/1968 - ?1969?      Husband of Caroline, begged Tracy to choose his wife for dialysis.

Johnny Beale      ????  12/24/1968   Caroline's son, present for the Nativity story with Dr. Hardy and his family.

Susie Beale       ????  12/24/1968   Caroline's daughter, present for the Nativity story with Dr. Hardy and her family.
