I hope they keep Rick and Maya in power for the entire year. Slowly play out their demise with a big build up.

That would be great but don't count on it. Brooke and her vajayjay are just about back.

To be honest this Othello actor is a bit painful to watch at times...

He was TRAGIC.

The constant "what am I doing here"- looks with Ivy and Pam. This was just too much. LOL

That said, everyone else is doing great acting work. Lynsey Godfrey, KarlaMosley and Jacob Young are just the icing on the cake.

The mansion is huge...why the hell does Mika need Aly and Ivy to be gone for the night?

The way Rick and Caroline keep talking and pleading for their future children is beyond ridiculous. Its obvious we are going to get a Mewto pregnancy plot but who talks like that?

Rick's actions are so over the top. He'd be slightly more sympathetic and justified if Caroline screwed Ridge but it was just a few kisses

Im disappointed that Rick put this portrait up. I wanted delusional Maritza to do it herself. BTW how the hell did she not notice it when she entered the room? She was facing its direction for a good minute or two before Rick "surprised" her with it

Why? Age has nothing to do when it comes to family dynamics/relationships like this, nor with wounds that have never healed. That's why it's such a juicy dramatic concept. Besides, Eric's indecisive, useless spinelessness has actual, real-life consequences every time he yanks one son from the position and puts another, whenever he plays favorites, etc. Like Ridge said, he couldn't believe they were back to arguing about this but that's the nature of these things....

bc they are too old for that. Thats why I find them childish. I used to feel that way about my father and his illegitimates but I got over that when I was like 21 and started doing me. That came with maturity and growing up. Im slightly younger than Rick so I cant imagine still being that way, let alone Ridge at 50+

It has a lot to do with the way Ridge treated Brooke and how Rick's childhood was affected by it. Rick mentioned that to Caroline the other day. IMO Brooke is as much to blame or more so for Rick's anger and resentment towards Ridge. Brooke's whoreness….really affected her children's lives.

No that explains Rick's resentment towards Ridge in terms of Brooke. It doesnt account for why Ridge is whining to Eric about Rick being favored by Eric and vice versa with Rick doing the same about Ridge

They could have easily recast, but they didn't want to bother. Othello was just a DJ from Aspen back when they first did the location footage, and they kept asking him back. Wrong choice lol.

Oh my Lord, are they reading our threads? We made the portrait joke weeks ago.

She is so being used, it's now patently obvious that Rick is just trying to stick it to Caroline.

How obviously directed to keep her head down when she walked in. How many glasses have been dropped in shock on that floor over the years...

I agree with what Ivy said that he is using her for a reaction out of Caroline. But I also think he loves her, and from everything she was saying in the beginning of the episode, there was alot of foreshadowing that she is here to "stay" i.e. a Forrester heir (whether faked or not who knows )

I feel bad for Maybelline. She's SO happy and convinced that this is it for her... I can't even picture the greatness of her having the carpet pulled right from under her....

Pam was fantastic confronting Rick about the portrait. They almost always use Pam as comic relief (sometimes it works, a lot of times it doesn't) but she can damn well get feels out of you in a second.

I loved that four-minute-long scene of Liam and Caroline talking. Liam was really likeable in this capacity. Although I sorta wish they would stop having Caroline talk about what happens when she and Ridge are together. We can see it, no need to vocalize it. :D

Rick talking on the phone with Caroline and inviting her over so she can see the portrait... that's cold. Caroline walking in, the way they kept having her avoid seeing the picture for two minutes until she finally did... that was beautiful. Her reaction was EVERYTHING. That is a pure B&B ending, that is!

I loved Pam going off on Rick too bc that was extremely disrespectful to her sister's memory

I know ya'll hate him bc Liam's scene with Caroline was excellent. He gave her great advice and I liked them interacting as cousins. I need Bill to get involved in this now. We need the Spencer family as a strong united front

I just want Dolla to beat up Rick like he did Ridge, cause Rick has done alot more than Ridge ever did(which was nothing), if he doesn't then mad.gif
