Victoria has never looked uglier than she has this past week. Clean up the makeup under her eyes, put on a neutral lipstick on those wide lips, do something about the bags under her eyes and have somebody do a brow job on her. I won't even mention her hair!

Mariah officially won me over today. I'm glad she burst Summer's bubble. Yeah, Summer wasn't officially a Newman for one year but she was still in the fold. She acts like it killed her to go from one wealthy family to another. I'm glad Mariah brought that up too. Hell, if it was me personally, I'd thank Sharon. When Nick doesn't wanna give me money, I'd go guilt Jack.

And Nick filing for custody.... I hope Sharon nails his ass to the wall but I'm sure St. Nick will prevail victorious as usual.

Victoria and Maureen ... meh. Why Victoria didn't use the stuff in the room to break down the door or beat on the door when Ben was in the parking lot was stupid. So over this story.

I think it's possible Nick will lose because he does't want to tell Faith anything about what happened. That's going to put her squarely on her mother's side. Personally, I wouldn't trust Sharon to stay on her meds either, if I were Nick. However, he's a freaking billionaire! He could just hire a cadre of nurses to look after Faith when she's with Sharon. Sharon's being reasonable, she would probably agree to that.

I don't blame Summer for being angry at all. The idea that biology doesn't matter is nonsense, imo. Of course it matters in a case like this. Even when Summer was in the hospital Nick had to step back and let Jack make decisions. Sharon screwed with Summer's sense of identity and just because the Abbots are rich, that doesn't make it ok. I understand some want to justify Sharon at any cost, but that just doesn't fly. Let's not forget this lie also cost Summer her relationship with Kyle.

I was glad Summer told Austin not to defend Sharon or Mariah to her. It's way to soon for that.

Still, I'm also glad Noah and Mariah are sticking with Sharon though all this. She doesn't deserve to be abandoned by her children. I'm also glad that Sharon is upset, but it doesn't seem like she's losing it. Let Phyllis take the crazy role back for awhile.

Phyllis set that whole scene up to maximize damage to Sharon without an ounce of concern to how much she hurt Nick and Jack. I love Phyllis and hate Sharon, but Phyllis doesn't get a pass for her selfish scorched earth tactics. I loved that Jack confronted Phyllis and she owned it. I also loved the confrontation with Mariah and Summer. That will be a rivalry that should stick for years to come.

Nick needs to STFU. He's as responsible as Sharon. Sharon did the same thing Nick did when he allowed Summer to think he was her Father when he believed it might be otherwise.

Today's episode is so boring. Victor is beyond annoying. I'm already tired of them dragging out Michael's "secret".

Where's Phyllis? Where's Ashley? Two characters I can enjoy watching in a scene no matter what they are doing.

The only bright spot for me is Grace. I could take her in small doses again for a while. JG would be better used than on B&B.

Phyllis is beginning to annoy me. What is she trying to do? Torment Jack? Or lock him into marrying her?

I don't hate Michael's cancer story. It's just kind of background noise to me at the moment.

I love that Mariah isn't letting Sharon off the hook, but is being supportive without giving her a pass.

I still hate Victoria.

The most interesting thing to me is Adam, and who are these people he's with and why are they helping him?

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
