Maybe if you weigh 100 pounds and drank both in an hour, but that wouldn't put most people over the limit.

For most people it's 3 or 4 and I see that as pretty reasonable. I'm sure there are a lot of advocates out there that think the limit is too high as it stands.

And still we don't know that he was over the limit or by how much. It's all just speculation at this point.

But also know that this is Hollywood, so he will probably still have his job even if he's over the legal limit. But we also don't know if he is! Y'all are 2 on with these accusations and conjecture and let's just wait till we get a test tho

Just because I don't think he should lose his job, doesn't mean I "approve" of what he did. Driving drunk, if that's what happened, should not happen, but the condemning of him is a bit much. So many people drive drunk and do not lose their jobs. It's not a given. I don't see what one has to do with the other. If his girlfriend died, or if it was a fatal crash, then yeah, but in this case? I can't see it but who knows? Mistakes happen, even terrible ones like this. Still doesn't make it right but the fact is, we are all only human. Let's stop the high and mighty acts.

It depends on how fast he was driving along with the blood alcohol level. When the forensics information is released, we'll know whether or not it was a crime. If someone drives recklessly even when sober and someone is seriously injured they can face charges.

When it comes to Days, if there is a morals clause they could in theory "clause" him. But it is possible that due to the accident taking place in Ohio that he may not be able to appear on Days due to what is going on if Freddie is unable to work.

    • I like the slow burn romance building between Tomas and Kat, and I also liked the homework scene with Tyrrell and his lady friend (Phil & Tara on AMC had a study date talking math as they made eyes at one another). What I most liked about this episode was that we had longer scenes today between Anita/Tracy, Chelsea/Kat, and Tomas/Kat mixed with shorter scenes.   I wonder if the breakdown writer, or script writer, determines the length of each scene.  I also have a feeling Chelsea's going to run to Dani after learning about Hayley's possible bun in the oven... and that horrid heffer (Dani) will stick her nose where it doesn't belong. That said, I liked the spark of spunk from Hayley at the end.  If she were smart, she'd pay the country club crowd no attention and focus on making friends with others outside the gate.
    • After his excellent portrayal of JFK - I remember watching it as a kid and being wicked impressed - Devane must have been in demand for big ticket projects. Sadly, he didn't get very good guidance in choosing the right parts, an often overlooked aspect of the entertainment business....to Knot's Landing's benefit, of course...
    • I'm not ready at all. But at least I can take some time at least. I know I'm going to be a crying mess.
    • I hope Rena Sofer, as Lois, remains at GH for a long time to come
    • Well, the writing wasn't helping him so it's good to hear.   VERY good to hear.
    • I'll give it a shot. If this is bad it's on you, @carolineg!
    • Absolutely ridiculous that three soaps are going to make me watch today's episodes.
    • *eyeroll* on Hayley.   While I feel like he has more chemistry with Eva, the actor playing Tomas is slooooowly improving.   Le sigh Smitty. That said...we know I'm loving the near-misses around Martin's secret. And happy it is getting attention again the last week of May Sweeps.
    • I love how farmboy  Hart became a Guido with a thick New York accent. You could tell they never knew or cared what to do with Hart post MH, he was just a hunk of steroids to take off their shirt and have girls fight over him, but I never understood what Bridget, Dinah or Cassie saw in him..(besides the proverbial roll in the hay, now there is a 20 on the dresser get out.) The move from Hilliard to Grillo was really quick and I would like to know the story...was Moniz not liking him? For more on our good old George Pilgrim, read "Unscripted" where he makes a cameo appearance as Sumner Redstone's much younger mistresses side piece. When you read about him you could imagine that Pilgrim was writing his own dialogue as obnoxious J.  There is NO way he was a product of Nola and Quint.
    • What an hour of soap opera television. -- It doesn't get much better than this. Every actor delivered in every storyline. There's so much blame to be placed on so many characters for their mistakes, yet it's impossible not to sympathize with them. -- When Tracy looked at Gio after hearing the news about Dante and Brook Lynn, iT was just another example of the excellence of Jane Eliott. All it took was one look to make an already good Giovanni Mazza even better. -- My heart broke for Gio, but you have to feel heartbreak for Brook Lynn and Dante, too, unless you have ice in your veins. -- Cody's understanding and sympathy for everyone was real and sincere. Lulu was into her "Well, maybe in the long run this will all be better," but Cody understood that part of Lulu's reaction was a defense. She made mistakes, but she never wanted to hurt anyone. -- Neither did Lois, who's going to get it from all sides and take the brunt of the blame. I don't think she'll get any relief from Ned. Rena Sofer has been great at expressing her pain. -- Rory Gibson is off to a good start as Michael, and is expressing more emotion than he did in his entire run at Y&R. -- I didn't mind the Trina and Kai "first time" scenes. Those scenes were well-acted and nicely directed, and some goodness was needed in a show with so much heaviness. GH is on a really good run, and every day has been must-see TV.
