I think it's more Bryan Craig but Morgan and Kiki do seem to work better than the forced pairing of Michael and his real life lover.

And for anyone who watched Big Brother 6, I finally figured out who Rosalie reminds me of: Jennifer.

Isn't it sad that we already knew this was coming a long time ago. Redzilla shows up and of course they must break up not that I give one damn about them...I actually prefer Sam with Patrick.

I thought maybe real conflict would make Silas and Sam more interesting, but it's just made them mopier than ever. And I really don't care much for Sam and Patrick. They're just as mopey.

I think they really need to have a Silas/Nina/Franco triangle. And throw in some Ava.

I feel like Sam's only going to end up getting together with Patrick for a triangle with you know who. Robin and Coma Boy come home. Sam learns Patrick knew that Robin left for Jason. Robin leaves. Bam, triangle. Zzzzzzzzzz

Silas and Sam were both so annoying today. Good riddans to them. You can tell they ran up to him with eye drops during takes. I guess at least Sam wont be cheating

Franco and Nina are gonna be a couple? Guys ready for the triangle with Carly? Waste of scenes today

I don't. Silas doesn't want Nina. I think its obvious especially based on today that the triangle will be Carly/Franco/Nina with Silas/Sam/Patrick as another

It prob just boils down to the superficial fact that I found the actor more attractive and slightly (slightly) better than Ford, because you're right. I didn't say I was a big fan, but it did bug me that, as much as I disliked the stories, Ron introduced him and shoved him down our throats and could have at least used him for some interesting stuff with Connie but instead just killed him off--which seems standard for Ron. Bring a newbie on and use him daily and then finally after way too long, realize that he's not working and just kill him off.

cassadine:

Just triangle after triangle that's all this show is about and Ron writes lousy triangles. Name one decent triangle on this show since he came on? I'm triangled out.

So if Sam is with Patrick then Robin/Jason returns wouldn't that be a quad? I don't think Ron can handle the intricacies of a quad he just can't do it. Half of it would be off screen for a surprise.

    • When Kat was in Ted's hotel room and he wasn't there, she started to write a note to leave for him, and then thought What? and texted him instead.  Love that.

    • Thank you. And above all, it's conflict, which is what soap opera is. Not characters just being annoying because a writer rushes through story for them.

    • Maybe Carney and Levin didn't get along, but he got along with Tolan. Who knows. I SO agree about Tolan. I am sure my jaw hit the floor when I watched her first scene. She had been hyped like crazy by the soap mags. They swore she was going to be a sensation like Mulgrew. I thought she had a speech impediment. I think more likely she just couldn't remember her lines so she ended up slurring them from nervousness. Not everyone can do soap acting, it's very difficult. There's memorizing so many lines, then there's so little rehearsal. I think she was a theater actor. Maybe she was a good one. But when the camera was fixed on her, she just...sucked. I had nothing particular against Nicolette Goulet. She just wasn't Mary. She had no chemistry with Levin. She didn't even look like she belonged in that family (a similar situation when they replaced Sarah Felder with that blond chick who was laughable as a police rookie). I don't believe it was impossible to recast the role. Kathleen Turner was doing soaps during this era. She would have been a phenomenal Mary. (Not to say that she would have been available, but just to point out there were good actors of that type around).

And I must say that Latvia's song is oddly magnetic. I think it deserves a place in the final. I would much rather have seen Australia and Serbia in the final than Lithuania and Malta though.   ETA: Malta, Israel, Armenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Austria, Greece, Luxembourg, Denmark and Finland qualified for the final. Australia, Serbia, Czechia, Georgia, Ireland and Montenegro eliminated.
    • Grant Aleksander is a charismatic performer, but I never liked Philip very much. I thought he was a sanctimonious ass at times and also too intense for me. I do think they had a great opportunity for his 2009 return story at showing a man who had come back from the brink and wanted to reclaim his life. If the show had continued, I am curious to see what they would have done. The show's biggest mistake with the Spauldings was keeping Alan much too long instead of having Philip take his place as head of the family. Ron Raines was the luckiest man in daytime to last for 15 years. Alan should have died in the early '00s at the latest, during the Philip/Olivia saga.
    • Too soon to make any judgments about nuTed, but I will say that I think they should've gone older.  And I also saw some chemistry between Bill and Leslie as well lol but Bill's part in Ted and Leslie's affair/Bill and Ted's friendship needed to be established a lot sooner than when the reveal happened. Their relationship could be a really good counterpoint to the Duprees.   But I really liked the parallel that was drawn between Kat and Chelsea, and what their father's did. I like their relationship and I hope they go on to investigate Laura's accident. I just hope it doesn't come until something happens between Eva and Tomas.  Btw, Happy Birthday, Eva! A lot of birthdays today

    • I love you He’s definitely not for me. He comes across very meek. Trisha is going to eat this man alive in scenes.  Excellent scenes! Her damn nicknames be tearing me the hell up
