Josh and Cassie board the private jet to Cross Creek, but their takeoff is delayed due to fog. We then see Reva fill a bathtub at Cross Creek, take the phone off the hook, and get into the tub. As she’s relaxing, Richard comes up behind her, puts his hands around her neck and asks her why he shouldn’t kill her for what she did to him. They go back and forth arguing, with Richard grabbing her neck again. She finally gets out of the tub and she tries to plead with him that she doesn’t know where Jonathan is. On the plane, Josh is concerned because the phone continues to have a busy line and he then mentions that Olivia spent the night at their house, which surprises Cassie. Josh then tells Cassie that Richard tricked her, which was his plan all along, and they argue as Josh says she should have put Reva’s best interest first. They finally take off for Cross Creek and he eventually apologizes to her for snapping. They land and grab a car just as it’s about to storm. At the cabin, Richard plays on Reva’s emotions and asks if she can ever forget their love and relationship, and she says no, she’ll never forget as hard as she tries. They become emotional and he caresses her face, even though she’s saying she hates remembering how happy she was with him. He then kisses her, they make out and fall into the bed! Before the clothes come off, the storm hits harder and a tree limb breaks through the window and interrupts them. Reva snaps out of it and runs outside, yelling at Richard to go back home. He says he can’t leave with the storm, so she’s stuck with him for the night. He covers her with a blanket to keep her warm and continues to talk about the past, and pushes her to admit that she still wants him. She finally caves and says yes, she wants him. Meanwhile, we see Josh and Cassie stranded outside in the rain, with their car stalled. They get back inside the car and Josh talks about how he’s feeling lost with Reva and doesn’t know how to fix it. Cassie says he is to blame and should take some ownership for putting them all in the situation, which he doesn’t like to hear. Back at the cabin, Reva and Richard start kissing and she’s taking his shirt off. We then see Josh and Cassie walking through the woods in the rain and they finally reach the cabin. Josh makes a sound as he’s opening the door and Reva/Richard separate quickly as Josh and Cassie walk in. Reva jumps up and gives Josh a hug, saying she’s happy he’s here, but both he and Cassie are a little shellshocked. Cassie asks Richard why he’s there and he tells them the truth on how he showed up. As Richard and Cassie are getting cleaned up, Reva kisses Josh and apologizes, but Josh says he’s talked to Cassie and realizes he needs to show more responsibility in where they are. He says he doesn’t trust Richard, but he trusts her. He later leaves to change and Richard comes in to talk to Reva. She begs him not to say anything to Josh about their kiss and Richard says he won’t, but that eventually they’ll be together because he knows that’s what she wants. A guilt-stricken Reva says they can’t be together, but Richard says he knows she would have made love to him if they weren’t interrupted. A clean Josh and Cassie come back and the power is out from the storm. Realizing they’re stuck there for the night, they awkwardly play cards by the fire. Reva cuddles up to Josh, but she flashes back to making out with Richard and she looks very nervous and unsure.
Olivia stops a random thief from stealing Harley’s purse while she’s tending to Zach outside Company. Harley thanks her, introduces herself and invites her to sit down for dinner. Olivia says she’s not from SF and her flight is delayed because of the storm, so they sit and talk a bit. Olivia tells her about how this man she’s in love with is now in love with his ex who he has a child with, which intrigues Harley and she keeps asking more questions. Harley says Olivia needs to stay in SF and fight for her man.
Carmen angrily thanks Michelle for taking her second son away from her, and Danny tells Ben he’s done with the family business and he’s welcome to leading it. Ben leaves, and Michelle and Danny tell a crying Carmen that they’ll always be family and they hope she’ll come around. Ben then makes a private phone call to Teresa, asking to meet, and afterwards says to himself that Danny tried to take him down, now he’s going to return the favor. Later, Carmen tells Ben more about Teresa, saying she’s from a family they did business with for years and Danny/Teresa grew up together as kids and she always thought they would marry.
Abby is back from her speaking engagement and tells Rick all about it. They kiss and prepare for a romantic evening, but Danny and Michelle walk in and ask if they can move in temporarily, since Danny left the family business for good. Rick and Abby said they’re welcome to live there temporarily, and they tell them about buying property at Laurel Falls. Later, Abby tries to tell Rick that people can change and that he should give Danny a chance again. He then starts talking about wanting a child, but she puts a quick stop to it and just wants to know how Selena is doing instead. As Danny/Michelle unpack, Danny accidentally drops a box and a picture of Teresa falls out (haha), and Michelle asks who it is. Danny tells her the truth, that it’s an old-girlfriend, but that is in his past.
At the Santos mansion, Ben meets with Teresa (debut - 10/04). Ben tells her about Danny leaving the family business for Michelle, and Teresa is shocked, saying that’s not the Danny she knows because he would never do that. She talks about how the breakup was hard for her, because she envisioned marrying Danny. He then asks her to help him break up Danny and Michelle, but that their secret plan stays between the two of them, not even telling Carmen. Teresa says she’ll think about it and get back to him.
Ross and Doris (the DA) come into the jail cell and Bill yells out that the cop pushed him first, but Doris has concerns now about letting Bill go. Bill tells Frank that the cop gave him the black eye and Ross wants the cop punished. Later, Frank privately tells Ross that the cop hasn’t regained consciousness at the hospital and needs surgery. If he doesn’t live, Frank says Bill is looking at 25 years to life in prison. Later at the hospital, Pilar runs into Vanessa and Matt and tells her about the cop and what Bill did, which infuriates Matt and makes Vanessa faint. The doctor runs tests and they’ll know the results tomorrow, but he says not to worry for now, it could just be the flu or something else. Frank then shows up and says the cop will make it, but he’s going to press charges against Bill. Vanessa pleads with Frank that Bill isn’t a violent man and the cop must have done something bad. Frank is going to look into it, but for now, Bill is staying in jail. Pilar tells Vanessa that in order to save Bill, she realizes he needs to be out of her and her family’s lives, so she’s decided to leave him. She painfully asks Vanessa to tell Bill for her, and Vanessa agrees and thanks her.
Drew is excited about Ben being her father, but Jesse tries to persuade her to take things slow because he’s a ruthless man with a bad reputation in town. She wants to celebrate Selena going home from the hospital by having a dinner later that week with family, but Jesse says he has another art class that same night. She is a little annoyed, but jokes that if she didn’t know him better, she’d think he’s having an affair. He finally says he’ll go to her dinner and then leaves to make a phone call to the mystery lady, saying he can’t see her now on that night. She says to Jesse that it’s time to tell Drew about them. A day later, Jesse and Drew have dinner at Company, with Drew making plans for Selena’s return to home dinner party, and Jesse eventually leaves for art class. Drew notices he left behind his paints and makes a call to the art studio, but they tell her Jesse isn’t taking any classes, which confuses Drew and she gets angry, wondering what’s going on. She goes to see Ben at the Santos mansion, and he comforts her as she tells him her concerns about Jesse cheating. He makes her feel better, and on her way out, he promises he’ll show up for their family dinner she’s arranging tomorrow. Carmen then makes a remark that it’s interesting she’s losing her family, while Ben is gaining one. We then see Jesse and the mystery lady together at her place, drinking tea. She says she doesn’t like lying, and Jesse says he’ll tell Drew the truth, but she’s going through so much right now with Selena, Ben and Max, that it isn’t the right time. My guess - there is nothing romantic about this, because they aren’t touching or flirting at all, but I’m very curious to know what’s happening! Jesse leaves and gets a call from his art gallery friend and apologizes, saying he hopes he didn’t get him in trouble for telling Drew he’s not enrolled in courses right now. He says it’s fine, but kicks himself, saying this is getting out of control. Drew then walks in, very quiet and angry, but Jesse casually says he was at his art class that night at the university. She said she thought his classes were at the gallery and he says no, she had it mixed up, which makes her think she was concerned for no reason and she smiles and hugs him.
Buzz hosts a cute little date in Selena’s hospital room, complete with wine and music. Selena, however, starts to get frustrated because she can’t make love right now to him, as much as she wants to, but Buzz comforts her and says they will eventually be able to. A nurse comes in and Buzz leaves and his conscience once again tells him he made a mistake for changing the DNA results, and it’s only a matter of time before Selena finds out, but Buzz walks away saying it’ll be fine. He goes back to Selena’s room and she says she’ll move in with him, which makes him happy, saying buckle up because it’ll be a wild ride. He then looks to the window and see’s his conscience staring at him, shaking his head. We then see Ben sneak into the lab, get to the computer, and delete his negative test result, saying no one will know he isn’t Drew’s father. Meanwhile, Carmen is commiserating alone, saying Danny has Michelle and Ben has Selena and Drew, and we see the crumpled up negative test results on the floor next to her that fell out of the cabinet.
