I just heard about this on Twitter.

I think AS and JS leaving could mean great things for Days. I really do. Both characters have been poison to the show together and separately!

What the hell are they going to replace both of them with? More Melissa Reeves and Shawn Christian?

This doesn't have to be bad for Days [hopefully, they won't give this airtime to a pairing I'm hearing is the absolute worst in Daytime right now]. TIIC pick who they believe are the stars and shove them down the audience throats at the expense of the whole show. The actors leaving their shows is a blessing more times than not. Redzilla, Miller, Burton, etc.

Now, you have KDP coming and Eileen returning. That should be good for Days.

Daytime became 4 dusty hookers left in a deserted town for a reason.

I think the show has decent leading men if they write for them - Eric, Brady. They don't have that guy with an edge, but they could work on that (it's too bad they trashed Nick so much). How about a recast Jeremy?

YAY! (Nothing against James Scott but EJ is tired and needs a long rest, much like Sami does)

But really, who didn't see this coming after Sweeney decided to bolt.

The business card on Gloria Loring's dressing room table was right: "EXPECT A MIRACLE." :)
